I think some of it is prices correcting themselves...

When new piggies hit the market prices seem to rise with them playing catchup with the rest of us. Now the prices are leveling off and heading back to a reasonable level

That is it more than anything I think. Prices stayed steady for years, going up bit by bit, but not crazy.

Not 3-4X retail crazy.

My most expensive SHBM was a Satin LE that I paid $600 for. I later sold it for $700 and I thought that was a bit pricey.

Now, plain jane SHBM's are going for close to double that, in just a few years time.

Market is correcting.

hey, I have a crisp $100 bill for anyone that's hurting in these harsh econmic times with an extra SHBM they need to offload - especially a safe queen.

to paraphrase the Boss, nothing says "I Hate You" to a fine Busse Combat knife than to leave it sitting around in a safe or elsewhere an not beat on it or at least use it. ;)

i'll back that up with a c-note of my own for a snake pbs.
pabst in the head, smoke in the lung's.
qoute me if ya dare.:p

All I know is, I didn't have any problems selling off my old school "grails," mine didn't even have sheaths!
