I can bet you that everyone who came for the Knife Show (pretty small affair for you folks from the USA, I think it was about 1.6 thousand people that year) asked politely if they could pick it up... It did feel really subsatantial in hand!
In the afternoon when security got a bit lax... the folks from gluten free food show that was happening downstairs in the building, wouldn't even dare to look at it more than a second... and they were positively shocked with kitchen knives (custom) that had a price tag higher than $50...
