..I can’t figure out why I have not...considered a CS product when knife shopping. They seem to use good materials, they have designs that I like, and arguably the best ...Maybe it’s that Lynn comes off as a pompous a$$

or that the CS fanboys are annoying as hell if someone has a negative comment about one of their knives. (The Lynn comment isn’t fair,...) ..Anyone else feel this way about a brand or company?
you're a good example that not everyone
buys into over the top marketing hype.
or perhaps its because you never bothered
watching the proof videos?
it could perhaps boil down to a disinterest
in the styling of the entire productline
as in the deaign or looks department ?
i do underatand that its not everyone's
cup of tea when it comes to defensive tools.
hence, its natural that stigma should
eventually take a foothold about such and
such a brand; that we then tend to overlook
a particular brand. for me i have no problem
with what's being offered by a cutlery company. certain brands pitch their wares
that hit the right note, others maybe a little
too pitchy or way off key, but.so what?
on a personal note, i do not care for over
the top pricing.
so i know how to look elsewhere for what i
am willing to part with. we all have likes and
dislikes, but it would be a waste of precious
time to have any sort of vendetta against a
brand that has probably never quite needed
your money or opinions to get where it is now. for brands that i don't care for i keep
a watchful eye, ever hoping for some new
product which might finally reel me in.
we do need to have faith and hope in change, such is life. here today and gone tomorrow! now isn't that exciting enough a prospect?
