I was married one year, my ex got me a Southern Grind Spider Monkey as a wedding gift. Of course then she paid for $0 of any bills throughout the marriage...My wife is great. She gives me the look of disgust and comments, “another knife!?” But she is the first to point out, “they have some cool knives for sale over here…..” when we are shopping.
She has NEVER bought me a knife though. 21 years of marriage and not a single one!
I think you're on the wrong forumi’ve taken notice of my auto collection and decided to sell them all.. and keep 2 bugouts.. and a large/small sebenza.. 4 is plenty for me
And we just thought he was a coffee guyWhen I'm dead, I want people to say, "He was a quiet man. Never bothered anybody. But, with all those knives, I guess he was a psycho."
I don't have much in the way of fancy knives, though I've been gifted a few nice ones. But I do have quite an accumulation of serviceable knives acquired over the past 50+ years. Possibly a couple hundred. Just the way things go.
Some people do wonder about my 60 or so hammers. I just point out that a real hammer guy like Scotty Fulton in Kentucky has over 12,000 hammers. The good thing about hammers is you don't have to sharpen them.
