Why don't chris reeve and mick strider do what hinderer does?

Lol I don't get why people are acting like "I'm going to get torn apart". If someone on the internet says something that I don't like I don't care, sure it might get the best of me on occasion and ill get irritated or angry for a few minutes but then it passes and its done. In the end people can and will say whatever they please for good or bad but its one of the things this country is based off of (Atleast if your in the U.S, A lot of you aren't and i apologize if that in anyway offended you). In the end you could stick 3 people who have been friends for their entire lives in a room and tell them to discuss something and they will end up arguing somewhere throughout the discussion.

The way i asked my question i was not rude i was not assertive i did not act like a jerk all i did was simply ask if something like it was a possibility for the future. They might give me a not so nice response or they might give me a very informative response. In the end it wont really change anything regardless of what they say except directly answer my question and not just speculate answers.

I was drinkin last night, and I thought up a great way to make World Peace a reality.

I'm off to email the President of the United States. He better be respectful.

It's more about your state of mind.

No it isnt, I know he can say whatever he wants, He can answer as nicely or rudely as he would like. Or choose not to at all. But i have the right to contact him and ask him things if i choose to do so, and he can answer with whatever manner he sees fit.

So what are you going to tell him... Something like this?

Idk what they were priced at but id buy one if they were reasonable. The only reason i don't buy something like a strider is because i don't or would i spend 450$ on a knife.

That's not going to go well for you if you do.... ;)

Same logic as why Mercedes or BMW will never do the bandwagon ECO car.

Deign themself to make some cheaper knives might be a bet to tarnish their prestige .
a

BMW did introduce an affordable car for the masses with base price being about 20 grand.

I think that is exactly how most of the people who replied to your thread feel.
Respect goes both ways.

Cars are much different than knives, so I don't understand why they are compared.

Either the person pays the whole thing cash, $20K to $80K + or they make ongoing payments.

Much different than a one time purchase of a knife, and the ones here are in the $300 to $500 range, huge difference.

Wouldn't make any difference to me.

I would never waste my money on any Hinderer or Strider.

Made this. Couldn't resist. :D For the record, SomeNewGuy--this isn't directed at you. Ankerson's comment just made me chuckle. ;)

So you are going to close it and not tell us the response you got? That's disappointing. I would like to hear the responses. (If they are real.)

That's what I was thinking.....

Likely will go something like this.....

Dear Sir (Mick or Chris),

I don't want to spend more than $100 on a knife so I think you should do a collaboration using cheap materials so I can get one that you are involved with.

Response might be......

Nothing at all or something along the lines that they already have done it before, but in a higher price range than someone wants to spend.

Or they would just tell him to look at other options like Buck.
