Why you (yes you) NEED a bk11 (becker necker) pic heavy

If that was some kinda hardcore toolbox like Snap On or even a bank vault, you would of had to use a BK14 ya know...just sayin ;)

Yeah, I might have sharpened mine up and scraped the rust off for that one. :D

Awesome thread man. I'll have to get me one of these eventually.

So now we have a thread about the epic-ness of the BK11, three threads about the amazing-ness of the BK2, one sweet video of the BK3... now where are the other threads that feature the other Beckers?

Where are the leather pants.
They are expected around mid october. Its earned em ill say that. even though its a crappy tool box and there wasn't any rebar....

Don't sell yourself short. You earned it. Well, the BK11 earned it, but we'll give it to you both.

Well, the bk11 just couldn't back down from a challenge, so rebar it is. But, even though this little guy has tons of fight in it, the rebar won in the end. But I couldn't just let it be defeated totally, so my necker took out its frustrations on a chair (sore loser) So long story short, as long as your not cutting rebar, the bk11 is right for you...

Awesome man, just awesome! I love my BK11, the last trout that messed with it.......not so much.

o yeh i forgot to mention it opens beers too....
from the top, you mean.

I have a feeling I'd prefer the Kabar 1095CV version to my Camillus D2. The D2 requires so much meat behind the brittle edge that it really just isn't as capable of delicate work. Maybe there was a reason behind the material choice, but I think maybe it was not the right combination. Now I want a kabar 11, even though I have no need of another knife that size :-P
Of course my D2 bk11 will open beers FOREVER. muahahahaha

I love books. LOVE BOOKS.
Just got a glorious knife & recipes cookbook as a little surprise. VERY nicely bound volume. What a pleasure to hold and behold.

However, when I graduated from highschool I do distinctly recall shooting some text books with some *ahem* "improvised" tools.

Besides, usually the first half of a book is the best. Why keep around stuff you don't need? just takes up space. Imagine if all your bookshelves only had to be half as deep! That would add crazy square footage to a NYC apartment, Arkanian. ;-)

Ok well here is the damage up close from my head to head with the rebar

But 5 minutes, a belt sander, and a strop and she is good as new and shaving hair. gotta love that 1095. tough as nail and can sharpen up easy too...

Was gonna strip her, but i think i like the battle scars. A reminder of the beating she can take and to never go gentle into that good night.... THE END....for now....

The knife was great before but the battle scars make it even more beautiful. Knives are made to be used. I think it is perfect the way that it is.

Nice. The handle doesn't fit my hand but I hear you about little blades. I don't even use knives between 3-8 inches anymore. My Izula II is my fave at the moment.
