Wicked edge headed my way! Along with my small seb 21

That's a beautiful bevel! What's your technique to keep it uniform and avoid a widening towards the tip if I might ask? It looks perfect on that picture.

I use a sharpie and use the highest grit to see where the I'm hitting. IIRC it was A1/4 on the ruler for the small insingo.

Why is that? The tip is good for detail work. Maybe that would make for a sharper tip?

Wicked edge on the smith and Wesson bullseye got a nice 20 degree bevel on each side to 1000 grit diamond stones then 14- .5 leather strops it's pretty sharp not hair whittling but it's my very first one took about 1 hour next knife I do I will use the sand paper and then strops to see if I can bring out a mirror edge.

How long did it take you? What do you think about the weps now that you have it in hand?

I'm almost done with my mirror edge I'm at 1500 grit right now and I'm an hour in but it is looking sweet! The stones I can tell are already breaking and it looks so much better and feels a lot smoother on the stones vs brand new when I got them!
Pics to come!!!!

First knife
Second knife and attempt on mirror edge so close I think two or three more knives and I will have the edge I'm looking for

I'm about to strop out my small sebenza and see how it comes out!

Great job! That is an excellent result, especially for someone that just got a WE!
I stop my sebenza to the factory grind, I did however just Finnish this knife a kershaw crown, and it came out extremely nice did 15 degree bevel on each side, and is mirror polish. on my third knife I don't think is to shabby, only took about 2 hours pics in just a second.
