Wilderness Photography

Awesome scenery as usual Nathan! The Ranger Station shot got me all nostalgic about Little House on the Prairie :)

I've been absent from the thread for about a month, during the absence, I got hitched, moved in with the Mrs., and took a quick (1 week) honeymoon traveling through NY, NH, and VT:

Yup, started the whole marriage thing :D

Thanks Nathan! Yeah, was only a week long but we had a great time and weather, definitely felt the blessings.

Thank you very much!

Congratulations Josh on marrying a beautiful woman who shares your love of outdoor activities.

Great photos Phillip (& Meredith.!) I have to say that the Grand Prismatic Pool in Yellowstone is the most most amazing mystic site I have ever seen in my life. I am glad that you had a great adventure and made it home safe.

Thanks Phil. We need a vacation to recoup from the vacation! :) It's going to take me a while to go through the photos. More to come.

These are all amazing pictures of amazing places. Thanks to all who contributed.
I have a bunch of pictures that I'd like to share but I'm having trouble posting full size pictures. I keep getting an invalid file message when I try to link to my fotki folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all.

Great pics from all of you. Thank you for sharing. Somewhat depressing though (to me), my life is very mundane compared to you guys. I travelled a lot when I was younger. My Dad was a pilot and We used to travel to many places around the world. But as I have grown older, most of our modest vacations are just driving distance from where I live. I am very thankful to have been able to experience what I have though. For all you younger guys who are able to, make sure you enjoy while you are able. There are tons of beautiful places to visit right here in America. Seems like traveling to most foreign countries can be almost dangerous anymore.

I was on vacation last week and spent some time in Michigan's upper peninsula. My girlfriend and I rented a cabin on Lake Michigan with some friends and we all had a great time.

I didn't get as many pics as I would of liked, but I did get some good ones of Pictured Rocks along the Lake Superior shoreline and a few from Fayette Historic State Park.

Enjoy and thanks for looking!

Ollie also enjoys the scenery.

These were taken at Fayette Historic State Park which in on Big Bay De Noc of Lake Michigan.
