Rick? Your post "As the saying goes; No good deed goes unpunished...uh Every silver lining has a dark cloud...er um Don't fidget when I talk to you...oh well," brings to mind a favored rhyme by Ogden Nash, slightly edited by a poor memory.
It was composed during those days after a Thanksgiving, when so many people complained about turkey left-over dishes, soups, sandwiches, turkey-loaf...etc. Nash talked about a man whose outlook was excessively positive.
"When Thanksgiving came twice,
Who walked so proud
As that grateful optimist, Mr. McCloud?
Things you and I would greatly deplore,
McCloud found ways to be grateful for.
Mrs. McCloud, on the other hand,
was always complaining to beat the band.
One day, she tired of his cheery note
and stuffed a tea-tray down his throat.
He remarked from the floor where they found him reclining:
'I'm just a McCloud, with a silver lining.'"

hang in.
