William Henry knives?

Yeah I am considering exchanging this one for one of the spearpoints. I like the design and the feel, it's just a bit to small for my liking I think.

I am considering trading this EDC in for one of the Spearpoints. I think this EDC might just be too small. Lovely quality though.

But at Spearpoint price range, thats Sebenza territory...

I got WH B12 spearpoint in ZDP-189, specced at 67HRC. Occasional EDC and all I can say it is very well made knife. Very light, smooth action, holds edge extremely well. Never had time to write a review, however, I did use that B12 in superhard vs. soft edge experiment. No damage whatsoever.

I've always wanted one of their autos, but haven't gotten around to it yet, as that's a lot of dough to drop all at once. My last WH cost me $500 out the door, and it takes a long time to save up that much money.

good luck, they stopped making autos recently. Last batch was actually made and sent out a few months ago. My friend who is a dealer actually has a customer that ordered through secondhand channels 20 or 25 autos when he found out they had stopped producing them.

I keep trying to talk the guy at the shop I go to into ordering a spearpoint so i can see it firsthand. I told him if he gets it more than likely I will buy it.

Got any pics of your WH yet? I don't think I've ever actually seen an EDC WH, their normal lines are too dressy for me.

I like the carbon fiber handled EDC. Reminds me of a raven or crow.

and the dressed up ones can be 3x a Sebenza, but they are very different knives for different uses so not really to be compared to each other.
Like a 2 seater convertible sports car and an upscale SUV. both can be enjoyed but in different situations. if you can only afford 1, you get the SUV (Sebenza) as it covers a much wider range of situations.

Yeah it looks exactly like that. What the picture doesn't show you, is how small it is.

I don't have a camera, and the one in my iPhone sucks! I'll snap a pic of it soon.

Blade Length: 2.75"
Overall Length: 6.25"

as a comparison:

CRK Small Sebbie

2.94
6.875

It's slightly smaller but not by much.

That said, if you don't like it you don't like it. Forgive me for being direct here, but it sounds like you just don't like it and are having buyers remorse or something. If you dislike it that much: return it, sell it, trade it.

I on the other hand love the knife, and it started my addiction to WH. I have a pitaki which is considerably smaller and love that one too.

Absolutely right !
we can look at specs pertaining to size, materials, etc. but what it comes down to most importantly is, "does the knife talk to you ?"
you see the knife or a pic and it's "Wow, i gotta have this one".
When you follow that feeling, then you'll always enjoy the knife.

exactly. Unfortunately I have too many knives speaking to me and not enough money to buy them.

To me the burl looks out of place with the black handle and blade. I think it would look better if it was titanium instead of black but I guess that is what brings the price down.

I'd like to see a pic of it next to the native, it appears by numbers to be a lot larger than the WH I played with, which was quite a small knife, no doubt it would do over 90% of what I need a knife for, but for the money I like 100%.

I'd like to see a picture of it next to your minigrip and the pink native. That would provide even better perspective. Lots of people take pictures with their phones, doesn't matter if it sucks or not, this isn't a photography forum.

even if the comparison pic is rough we could still get an indicator of size. we love pics :)

I use my iPhone for all my pictures I post. iPhone even has a photobucket app for free so you can take a picture and have it posted on a forum in a flash. Theyre not the best pictures but they're much much better than nothing. If you really want to post pictures it would be extremely easy to do with a iPhone.

Here's one I just did a couple minutes ago.

That photo quality is not bad at all SS. I guess it's how you set the camera up, some iPhone pics are horrible, this one looks clean and well focused.
