The first time Iever heard about the 110 was amagazine article about 30 years ago.Since that time I have bought a basic 110 from LL.Bean A112 from alocal sporting goods store and the lightweight version which I beleive Buck no longer make. Most recently Igot the Alaskan Hunter version for Christmas last year.Nothing sexy about any of the 110 knives I own just damn fine knives that do what agood knife is supposed to do.cut all kinds of stuff that needs cuting .The 110 is avery good reliable knife you can always count on when needed.I guess thats why Buck has sold so many of them

I have a real old one that just says Buck USA on the tang. It has a convex edge and will cut as well as any new knife with some high priced "super steel".

Hi folks,
This is my firs post here, and I decided it to be some pictures of my 110. I don't have it any more, because I trade it for a Maxpedition Octa, but soon I'll have AG 110. Anyway, I miss my Buck...
So here are the pics:

Ok. So I though it only appropriate to post pictures of this knife in the Heavyweight Champion Thread.
If anyone knows where I can get a 110 with those holes in the blade, please let me know.

Hi all,

I have this Buck knife from my Dad. I remember camping with it in the 1970s.

It only says "Buck" on it. It has 3 pins on the side. 2 small ones and 1 bigger one.

Here are the pics:

Nice Andy

That version is a little tough to find. Not that it's worth any amount of money to you.

I carry a 110 with my BM LFK as EDC. The 110 is for everyday activities and the LFK for defense, Love my 110 I own two.

I have one with Finger Grooves that was given to me, I love lock backs and carried a Rite Edge my co-worker gave me a 110 they gave him, he didnt like the over all design of it and I bought a newer 110 -> at walmart for 26 dollars. (the one buck.com shows for 66 online)

Love this knife

Dang you guys! I've got a slew of knives and have been an accumulator for decades. Never owned an actual 110. Ultralight, yeah, and an 112 sized Bucklite that was my carry in the field deer hunting knife for years. Somehow, it has been misplaced, but I have many others to substitute in it's place.

Since reading this thread 2 days ago, been thinking how I should really buy one. Actually been thinking that thought since the mid 60's, just never got around to it. Happened to be in Walmart today and they had one in a bubble pack with a nylon sheath, but no price on it. I asked and it was $28. Bought it on the spot!!! Almost an insane bargain, and can't figure out why I never bought one before. Now I'm gonna look around and add a few "older" 110s to my collection.

Thanks a lot. Did I really need yet another knife?? Apparently.
