How did you cut rope? I've been informed by "experts" that plain edges aren't good at cutting rope. I mean, I do it all the time with plain, highly polished edges, but from what I hear, it's impossible!Cut some rope this morning.

Hahaha. I am ashamed to admit that even though I sharpened this knife last weekend, it did take 3 passes to cut through this rope. I would like to blame the thickness of the rope, but really it is likely my edge. It did fine peeling the pear though! How did you cut rope? Yum! That’s what a Craftsman has for breakfast!Day three finds me using the sheepfoot to unzip a box for the wife, and the clip cutting a slice of French Silk pie for breakfast!

Why is everyone on this thread eating oranges???
Hang in there GT! I see the finish line! The Aussies are almost there! You are aplombing this perigrinatory exercise with dominanceI'm not the most adept photographer in the world, nor do I have the latest equipment. So it often takes me a couple of days (or even weeks) to get a photo I take with my ancient point-n-shoot Canon downloaded from the camera to my MacBook, processed with a simple image-processing app (cropping, resizing, adjusting various characteristics such as brightness, shadows, colors, etc. which I mostly do with a 1-click "auto-adjust" button), filed in appropriate folder, and finally posted into a relevant BF thread. So trying to get new photos posted of my trapper in action on 5 consecutive days for this GAW is really putting the pressure on me!
Here are a couple of photos I took yesterday but didn't have ready to post until now. One shows a couple of onions after I chopped them up for the chili my wife made yesterday (which I ate for supper last night and lunch today and hope to eat at least once a day until Christmas).

The next pic shows the results of my attempt to use the trapper to cut a couple of rectangular cross-sections of a cheese "brick" to put in my lunch yesterday. It's not a pretty sight!I slice cheese much better with a serrated Victorinox paring knife I have.

This third photo was actually taken this very morning when I had to cut open the netting on a new bag of oranges so I could put half an orange, peeled and diced, onto my cereal for breakfast this morning. The trapper (and I) had no trouble carrying out that task with aplomb!
