Im in, thanks! What a cool GAW idea. I will be carrying this knife that my wife got me, I dont normally beacause its special to me. I only used this to stir my coffee this morning, and couldnt carry it with me to graduate with my Masters degree today.

Great skill to have, can be hard to master, but well worth it.

Thank you sir. I still have to go super slow with the straight edges. I can get them crooked in a hurry. Clips and spears are much easier. Fun and relaxing to do while chilling on the couch. My wife says she is used to the scraping sounds .

Great idea for a GAW !

I’ll have to say it’s almost an exact copy of the GAW that Crazy Canuck did back in 2020 when I first joined the forum. Everyone picked one user that they had not used in awhile and used only that knife for a week. I loved it a ton and always said that I wanted to do one like it someday. Mike gave away one of the most generous pile of knives I’ve ever seen given.

Lol well my wifes a knockout too so I forgave her, this one is gorgeous blue swirl Kirinite lol my degree is in wildlife biology.

If anybody wants to see what the porch is all about - point them to this thread. On a high level it’s about the knives, anything from a $20 SAK to a GEC forum knife that sells for hundreds. No customs yet
However, on a deeper level seeing the community interact with each other in such a positive way has been a bright spot for me.
I’m checking my mail box first thing tomorrow for the knife I will be using!
