Very generous GAW !!!
I am in, thanks for the chance.

I generally tend to drift towards carrying smaller single blade slip joints.
I am taking this opportunity to tote a larger two bladed specimen for this week, may Case Trapper in amber smooth bone

I got it in 2018 when I was just getting into traditional pocket knives and had it delivered to our PO Box in the USA across the border.
My wife and I dropped our girls at the piano teacher that day and she drove us across the border to pick it up.

When the US custom officer asked her the purpose of our trip she sort of drew a blank, forgot it ... looked at me, at the officer, hesitated and then said "picking up knives?" not too sure of herself.
"What type of knives?" the officer asked.
She drew another blank, looked at me ... at the officer ... I answered for her from the passenger seat "Traditional slipjoint"

We were then sent inside  and she was asked a few questions and her biometrics taken.
Once satisfied that everything was just fine they let us go and off we were to the PO Box to pick it up.
She has never had any issues since then LOL :D

That's the story of this knife and I sticking to it :)

First order of business is and edge tune up :cool:

Ok, I realize that it’s a day early. Last night we had our one year old grandson for 6 hours. One of his favorite snack foods is green grapes. I grabbed a pile of them at the store, and they were pretty large- too large for his limited number of teeth.
So the lamb got duty halving them. Not tough duty, but important nonetheless!

I was always left confused on why a few people would comment on me having such great puzzle solving mind, but one which has left me with an answer to my flip phone/giveaway dilemma. I can draw a picture of my knife activity and it's surrounding area, then take a picture with my laptop of my daily drawings. The only drawback I forsee is I have zero drawing and art expertise outside of stick men and such,so if that would work Im in.

I’m in. Thank you for the fun and generous GAW. It’s a lot of fun to see everyone’s adventures and which knife everyone picks.

What’s the age range of that Craftsman knife? That’s cool as heck.

I’ll be using this Case 65 pattern Folding Hunter. Here we are enjoying our church Thanksgiving/Christmas potluck.

I don't know about y'all, but personally - I'm really looking forward to this. 🤣

I'll start officially and get the ball rolling. It is 7.10AM Monday morning here, so this will be my carry for the week. Not my most expensive knife by any means, but one of my favourites. Love the blade, the covers and it had just good heat treatment. Takes a wicked edge and keeps it. Wish i had have bought a few from this batch. Have a good week everyone. 😍.
