WooHoo!! My kith knife came! I got the wharnie style blade from Ghostman3, and I'm really happy with it. The scales are worth saving, for sure. I took a couple pics with my phone, and put the knife in the freezer to try to free the scales. It looks like the wood shrunk a bit as the glue dried pulling the front of the scales up. If I can free them, I'll draw back two spots on the tang and add pin holes to better secure the scales.
The sheath is well constructed, and fits well. The blade is 52100, perfect for the application I need this knife for. If it's ok with you Thomas, I would like to thin the tip of the blade as I want it to cut leather, and bring the index finger forward. I won't do that if that ruins your vision for this knife.
