WIP give away knife - concluded & winner picked

WIP: Used 2x42 sander 36->60->80->120 grits to clean up the 5 candidates. My sander has a lousy platen so, I'll have to hand sand the chosen knife before heat treatment.

I'm for #2!

Thanks for your generosity!
Will pay for shipping no problem! You know where I am ;)

Edit: maker recommends no 2, and the cut profile after lining up looks better too. Changed from no. 4 to 2.
Also, some might want to buy the 'losers', please consider :D

Both 2 & 4 are going to be super slicer - as long as I don't junk them in the wip. I probably will make at least the top 2 choices. I've quite a bit of 52100 (in 3/32, 4/32, 5/32, 6/32 thickness) avail but no more cpm-m4 to re-cut. I definitely will test these knives after ht, just to make sure they are not crap. I know the last 52100 turned out well, comfort to know I can fall back to 52100.

edit: #4 blade leaf profile/geometry is quite nice in person. lol - I already made a slight over-filed on the edge during plunge filing.

I'm in.... #2 would be my vote.

Your "Balanced Strop" thread is great btw.

Thanks!

I am in. #5

All of your patterns look intersting (#2 & #3), especially as you a working out the designs real time. Very cool.

Thank you again for the opportunity. This will be fun to watch.
