Guys!!!! I have to get some milder peppers to cut this with.:eek:This stuff is way to hot, even for me. I am going to be shitting flames tomorrow.:D The heat hits your taste buds, before the smoke favor.:jerkit:

George, I want a jar of the smoked goodness... I'll have one of the locals out there pick it up and pay you, because I want it sent to a friend of mine in Walpole, of all places.

I gotta find a way to get back out and visit with you again - time is so damn short!

You have a open invite.;) I am here almost all the time.:D It's nice to be semi-retired.HEHEHEHEHE!!!

Now you know my experience with those bad boys:eek:. Too hot to enjoy any flavor. I like jalapenos, serranos and the like. IG, if you can find some dried poblanos aka ancho chiles, you can use those to dilute the fire. You can boil the dried anchos in a little water and then blend them up to soften the hit. It adds a depth of flavor and helps to make a more jelly like salsa/relish. There are tomato sauces as you know. Maybe some of those canned pepperoncinis? I can see if I can get some chile pequin, but that won't help. Yikes, those little bastards are just as mean!

Let me know, IG!

I was thinkin' maybe a bit of stewed tomatoes to absorb the heat without messing up the flavor. I could be way off base though. :o

I pickup 2# of Jalapeños yesterday (thats all they had:jerkit:) and smoked them up and add them to a small batch of the Habenaros. It work well, now I need to get more Jalapeños.

Ed, I found more Jalapeños yesterday and got to smoke them up. Did you want a couple of jars???? Thanks for the help. Did you get the email on the trade????
The market didn't have any canning jars out yet. Now I'll have to go on a hunt for those.:jerkit::jerkit:

Oops, sorry about that, IG. Work has been crazy busy lately. Whatever you want to do on the trade out is fine with me. I'll pass on the HT relish. My days of eating super-firey foods are over I'm afraid (I can't afford that much ice cream:eek:).

OK Bubba;):D Just give me a week or so to send out your package.:D:D;)

IG, no hurry and no worry. I won't get any shop time for the forseeable future. I'm just glad that I got to help you share the HT relish especially on unsuspecting, cocky people. <evil grin> Bwahaha

Whenever you get around to it is just fine. Take care, brother.
