I was thinkin' maybe a bit of stewed tomatoes to absorb the heat without messing up the flavor. I could be way off base though.![]()
Now you know my experience with those bad boys. Too hot to enjoy any flavor. I like jalapenos, serranos and the like. IG, if you can find some dried poblanos aka ancho chiles, you can use those to dilute the fire. You can boil the dried anchos in a little water and then blend them up to soften the hit. It adds a depth of flavor and helps to make a more jelly like salsa/relish. There are tomato sauces as you know. Maybe some of those canned pepperoncinis? I can see if I can get some chile pequin, but that won't help. Yikes, those little bastards are just as mean!
