Women and Knives: Why More Women Need To Carry A Blade

For some reason, many women seem unwilling or unable to carry basic tools that are useful. My wife, who is very competent in many ways, never has a pen or a knife but is constantly interrupting me to bring her one. I have given her Swiss Army Knives with scissors and other useful tools, but she never carries them - just as she asks me for the time when she could wear a watch.

Agreed, and the same could be said of most modern men.

Hey thanks! Good to hear your wife is so into it as well..she sounds like a very cool lady! And, your daughter..wow..that's awesome! How old is your daughter???

My daughter is 29 and works in the livestock industry. She uses knives every day in one way or another.

Spey blade? :)

Ouch!

Blade Girl - cool video! And if you get the gig, have that producer introduce you to Wendy - she is one cool lady. We were friends at Northeastern and she will remember me, "EP", and my buddies JJ and Barton. You will love her.

Thanks! I do all my own work..I am a one woman operation..lol You will have to fill me on what you know... and I hope I get it!

Blade Girl:
I watched your video...great job! I like how you are very articulate on-camera, which is not something just anyone can do, and which is obvious comparing your vid to a *lot* of vids people put up on youtube. Articulate + interesting subjects= watchable. I studied acting for a couple years, and know firsthand it's not easy to come across naturally and interesting on-camera. Wishing you the best of luck in your audition!

Hey thanks! Yeah, I started doing news videos in January of 2014 and love it! My favorite part is editing them and creating my own music and intros..a lot of fun! You should start one about something that you feel would interest or help people and monetize on it..it's easy..then go post your vids in groups of interest in re to the subject matter on social media. Maybe you could do very professional knife videos??? That would be great!!!! :-)

I have a few knives that I think women could use. The manix, paramilitary, voyager and 940 are all great. But also, I like to keep a tacticool shemagh, it can be useful as a tourniquet, keep you warm AND shield you from sand!

Ha ha ha ha! What a picture! Now if I did that, Lord knows what some here would say! Hilarious! Since this thread is women and knives, are you sending out a picture message that this is how we should carry our knives? :) (smile)

BTW...I got a Puma after I saw yours but was unhappy with the sharpness/edge. I've sharpened it so it'll shave hair. Did yours come sharp?

Hope you're doing well.

I just saw the picture of the man with his face covered up and knives on him too.

For a minute, I thought that it was something out of a crime novel or movie.

I was waiting for the late and GREAT Jerry Orbach, God bless his soul, to come into the picture from the OLD, old, original Law and Order show! (That was the best one in my opinion compared to the new stuff out there.)

Anyway, nice knives and thanks for sharing.

Oh yeah..mine is sharp! But then again, that is coming from a 'woman' and you know that holds no credibility with many here.. ha ha ha ha!
