WOO-HOO !!! My KITH Knife Arrived

Nice. I really like that sheath and the wood, nice contrast and an interesting pattern without being burl.

I did a private show today at the store. When i got there a box was sitting on my desk. It was my KITH knife from R.Rock.

I want to tell you guys how pleased I am with this knife. The workmanship is superb. I own knives by Bill Moran, Bruce Bump, ABS mastersmiths, and other really good makers. I will put this knife up to any of them...it deserves to run with the big dogs.

The hamon is really crisp and sharp. The harpoon tip is well executed. The handle work is first rate, too. To make the package even sweeter, the hand tooled sheath is a perfect fit. I really like the keeper strap and stud.

I think we will be seeing a lot more superb knives from Steve in the future.

Many thanks - Merry Christmas.

Just got mine! This is wicked sharp, super comfortable, and I absolutely love the straight line hamon! Truly a beast of a knife and one of the best in my small collection.

BTW: That fish is "Little Atlas", my son named him after himself.

Why do i have to live so far away! I probably won't get mine for another week or so. Next year internationals should get drawn and sent first so we get them at the same time :D :D :D

Last year, I drew Mostho(Italy). Shipped in early December, he didn't receive it until late January. With the number of Aussies on here, I'm surprised there isn't a down-under KITH.

Sorry i have been off the grid yall,
but i arrived home from work last week to a package on the doorstep. Inside was a presentation box, a certificate of authenticity and a beautiful Damascus and ivory dagger. it is a beautiful piece and is a shrine to dedication a hard work, and i will treasure it. the presentation box is a particularly nice touch and fits the knife in style and presence.
pictures will be up tonight or tommorow.
thanks so much Greg!

Well, I just got a package that showed up in the mail. Inside was a little knife from Battle Creek Knives. It has an amazing feel and just hugs the inside of your hand. The blade has a very nice belly and a beautiful handle that can not be justified in the pictures. The mosaic pins only made it better. the blade was SHARP and easily shaves hair. Here are some pictures to give you an idea of the size and feel.

my hands are not small. I love big knives, but this knife just fits into your hand so well that the handle size does not matter. I am taking notes.

if it looks curved in the pics, it isn't. it is perfectly straight.

His makers mark was small but distinct.

These are the first mosaic pins I have seen up close and personal, and they were really nice. I love the look.

Overall, I love the knife. I will look forward to using it around the house and seeing how the edge holds up.

ETA: any dark spots are a combination of the sun and my fingerprints from touching it all over. ;)

Thanks for checking in, Chris. It's a relief knowing it didn't turn up missing.

Randy, I'm glad you like the knife and sheath. It's always great to know that your work is well received. My knives are meant to be users, so pair it up with the trail hawk and have fun!!

I got mine today! From maker Jason Magruder. A handy lil jade G11 handled edc pocket fixed blade, made from CPM 3v. Kinda a cool feature is it looks as if he has fire blued the fastners. VERY nice touch! If I could smile any bigger my ears would touch :D
