My first post in this thread! Excited to get both of these recently. I have some old wood advertising knives that I wasn't very fond of, but when I saw the GEC Snakewood 47 I knew I wanted to try to track one down. After what felt like lots of work I got a good one - in my opinion. The Bloodwood 85 I ordered back in early December with some hesitation. The depth, or figure (I think that's what it's called) was an unexpected surprise. When I tilt the knife it looks like the layers of wood grain are sliding against each other.
