Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

Of the two 14's that I have, this ebony one has the slightly easier pull than the antique yellow jigged bone one does...allowing me to be able to pinch it open. My first wooden-handled pocket knife, but won't be the last. Really like the ebony against the all-steel look.

Today I put some wood scales on this old imperial h6 , as the old black delrin broke on me recently soon being dropped. I think it turned out ok, and best of all my knife is now back in service.

A vintage ebony Robeson Pruner that is SOLID in every way. Mark (Markesharp) gift me this ole girl. Thanks Mark!!! The #77 was in the mail today so it got in the picture...

I like the contrast. Looks like a good job to me!

Thanks. That contrast happened from rounding off the edges since the wood was a piece of scrap which had already been stained . I liked the look so I just left it that way and put a mineral oil beeswax finish on it. Now I just wish I had another piece to put a matching handle on its companion hatchet which lost its black delrin in the exact same way when I was a kid.

For this Wooden Wednesday I'm carrying a Boker single carbon steel blade trapper with cocobolo scales.

The Mustang etch trotted off with the shine when the shine was replaced by the satin finish I prefer (on this one). No offense GEC.
