It's going to be one of these 25's for work tomorrow in honor of wooden Wednesday.

As Mr. Frank said, I did it may way. Some may not care for it or even find it revolting but for me I would have been hard pressed to have made it better for myself.

Here's my Wooden Wednesday choice... same as last time, my old Schrade Walden rope knife.
Sorry for the poor quality photo, but I wanted to snap a new one including this pipe. It's an Eriksen, handmade in Denmark, with really nice grain to the briar, and is my favorite shape (bulldog).
Gosh, I wish my cell-phone camera took nicer pics...

Sam, that is a real Beauty there:thumbup:
unique stamp on that one, love the workman carrying a ladder :)

I will throw this in my pocket today for wooden wed.: Boker Fellow Damascus, Devin Thomas basketweave stainless damascus and the covers are absolutely beautiful ebony. Hard to capture the nice grain and colors in this ebony, but it is exceptional.

Duane, Sam, Kris & Pete!

Those wood scales on all of your knives is great. Really! The orangewood, Duane has shown off is a real stunner! :)

Thanks sitflyer; he represents the young chimney sweeps in France whose cheerfulness and song made people consider them lucky mascots. Ah, they were the days...!

Good looking knife there, Kris.

I think Devon Thomas's Damascus must all be stainless stuff. I've been using the heck out of my Case damascus peanut with Thomas damascus, and it hasn't darkened or stained at all, even cutting BBQ ribs apart and the knife standing on the table smeared in BBQ sauce.

Carl.

Thanks Sam, I do appreciate it. The fellow carry's well for being on the large size, 4.25 closed, nice and thin, too.
