Two fine choices Gary, but even better news concerning your wife.I'm away from home again this week. My wife woke up on Monday all stuffy, sniffling, and sneezing. She eventually decided she should take an at-home COVID test. She thought we had packed a couple when we came to this rental cottage, but we searched everywhere and didn't find them. But I did discover more wood-handled knives that I didn't remember I had brought with me! (My wife sent me to the local pharmacy, but they had sold their last 2 COVID tests before I arrived. So I had to travel 60+ miles round trip to the nearest "big city" - Sault Ste. Marie - to find a pharmacy that had COVID tests in stock. My wife tested negative, so that's good!)

A Mr.Stone, very nice Kurt.
Hey Bob. The pull is up there. But I can pinch it. It’s a beefy knife. I enjoy his knife aesthetic as I am sure you do too. You have manyA Mr.Stone, very nice Kurt.Do you find the pull a bit much? I had him put a nail nick in my last one to help out.
Thanks Kurt. I too, sharpened a few of the Stones.Hey Bob. The pull is up there. But I can pinch it. It’s a beefy knife. I enjoy his knife aesthetic as I am sure you do too. You have many. No pins showing and no nail nicks. I have a Sakman that has a strong pull and snaps like a gator when closing. My Steenkamps are about the same. Maybe it’s a S.A. thing. K’roo’s are lighter for sure though. My Stones came sharp but definitely benefited from an edge reprofile/sharpening. I didn’t measure the blade thickness at the edge but it laid back quite a bit at 18 degrees. One of the sharpest knives I have now.
Loving the Desert Ironwood!
