Would love to see a nice knife released

To this point, I think it is also worth mentioning that on the BG FBM and BG Battle Saw offers during OP2W pt.2 the Boss has said (I believe), that the plan was to have them in stock or available for order permanently at some point in the future and not just for a week at a time.
This goes to the OP’s desire for a broader ordering window.
Unfortunately the Two Models you mentioned are not on the OP's Radar...The Bad news is he wants SATIN 4-5" Drop Point which are going to sell out Tout de Suite. Time will tell if any of OP2W2 items will make their appearance on the Store Site?!

I seem to remember it being said that the BG FBM would be a regular production item on the store site by the end of the year. I think there may have been another one too but I can't remember for sure.

Hi,
I posted: I'd just like to see a 4-5" drop point hunting knife that's not to thick with a nice micarta handle in satin INFI. I'd submit that the world is not "entirely drowned in that boring stuff" nor is that stuff actually boring, it's very useful.
I also posted: Then, and this is the important part, keep a well designed knife in production so they're actually available directly for a while and in a reasonable time frame. I think that makes sense and speaks for itself.
Your interpretation in saying, for some reason, I "will not be satisfied until all the well-made production "tacticool" designs have been entirely eradicated from the surface of planet Earth." Makes no real sense at all. Not sure where you get that.
I know thst it's no longer a regular production item but the SOB LE had a good run as a production knife that might fit the bill. I sure do like mine.

I remember that mentioned when someone asked however here we are closing in on the end of the year and No FBM in sight...So if there was no mad rush eat up all that bacon perhaps they will show up next year?!! With the new production program I'm not going to hold my breath on what might be a regular menu item if I like it I'm a buyer. Looking back on what stayed on the daily order page were a number of Large blades the ASHBM...Flying Mojo..TGLB (probably the best seller or all time)and one small blade AMS.

Don't recall having said that. I said I'd like to have a particular sort of knife released and kept in production for a bit. I do get the updates, and I know precisely what I'm looking for.

Man I thought you’d be all over one or both of these? Besides being offered regularly it’s like Jerry took your personal order lol! Wish he’d do the same for those of us wanting the TGLBLE. :)

The OP wants it to remain on the Busse Combat Store page until he decides if its what he wants seems like he can't pull the trigger when anything he has described is offered. He's been watching for a couple years(since 2013?) nothing meets his criteriao_O

Aww well the odds of that are not good but it could happen. Only heard the BG Battle Saw and BGFBM will be regular so far along w the AK47 right now. OP this Hog Badger is pretty close my man! Might not see one like this for another few years who knows?

Why don't you just get an INFIdu from the secondary market and add a bit of drop point (although the knife is already perfect as it is)?
I really do not get your problem, warbow. Do you dislike the choil?

For goodness sakes, I don't have a problem. I posted something I'd like to see released and kept in production. There's a difference, you know. I've owned several Busses, ASHBM, AMS, NMFBM. I own enough knives I'm looking for something fairly specific. I said in the beginning this was all my opinion. People post those around here daily.

None are in production ATM, and not offering to sell, but do any of these come close to what you are looking for?

Hi, Jaxx
Something like the second from the bottom is really close, pretty much it. (Mean Street of some type, yes?) That or another CABS release.

2nd from the bottom is a "Boney" Active Duty. The "Boney" indicates a slightly higher HRC, and it is very thin INFI. The Active Duty model over all is a great workhorse, and while not a current production, there are lots of them out there, and a few usually still do appear at shows, like the Blade Show, as Custom Shop versions. Satin is more common on AD's as a finish, should be easy to locate for a fair price.
