Was just checking out the sale forum and noticed someone appeared to get a really good deal on a LMrS but it seems that there was some behind the scene maneuvering to screw the deal.
Not the HOG way that I was taught.
I agree with the above. Foo got the deal, everyone else should quickly GET LOST! To whomever the deal screwers are--you don't get everything you want in life, so grow up!
Some people have no shame......the closest I've come to that is trading someone for a knife they just bought so quick the knife was just shipped to me instead ....but trying to snipe their goods? Never. Not cool.....
Wow. While I'm not shocked, it's still a not-cool-thing-to-do.
Sadly, it's the logical progression of some newbie coming on asking what this blade marked GP Busse is worth and 493 guys PM him to buy it. Too much frenzy for older blades. Ethical lines get blurred in the stampede.
seriously though, once a deal is made, then the seller needs to honor it. The seller only did what he should do. I think the thread is telling enough on the who part IMO although I am probably wrong, but honestly that it is ultimately the seller who needs to be the honorable one.
Once you make a deal, honor it or you have no honor. This has happened to me a few times, so it is not so common an accurance thankfully.
I mean really, Skunk has offered me his #500 when he croaks, but he won't croak, so that is breaking our contract in a sense.
Not sure what to say here... other than thanks for all the support!
I do want you to know Chris (CAD) seems to be a stand up guy!
I'm sure he would have honored the price, but I offered him a better price.
One that we are both happy with... still a win-win for us both.
I would much rather both parties be happy with the deal, than for one of us to walk away soured!
So... thanks Chris for being honorable!
And for those that screwed the pooch for me... Thanks a lot F***tards!
Like i said in the F/S thread... may your INFI Karma bite you in the arse HARD!!!
