Are those a pair of Sh@rp scales Lee? Looks good! I picked up a 14(2nd) at Blade.

I had no idea that the BBB was THAT overbuilt. I should have known considering it's coming out of Todd's shop but still DAMN. It is an impressive piece in hand.

Yeah, I got super lucky and picked them up in the exchange like a year ago, been wanting another 14 to put them on since I gave my old one to my best friend. I wish Sh@rp would do them again, they are extremely nice.

The Yuma arrived.

Thats why I didnt go ape shit when mountain mist started hacking wood with it at the gathering. Besides, I didnt even have to say anything to him. You guys that where there did for me. I thought that was kinda funny.

Dude, I don't know what possessed me to do that! I felt soooooo bad! I was going to apologize all weekend, but every time I thought about it I felt like I was going to puke.....:(

I can just pictures everyones jaws dropping like WTF you doing kid???

Im not saying this in spite, or because i have any issues with the kid, it wouldnt matter if it was a grown man... hell id be even more pissed if it was a grown man.

Nobody said anything to me about it! Todd did kinda giggle when I asked him if I could use it for the chopping contest tho.... Wait, hm, sorry, that's not even funny. Sorry.

It wasnt a big deal, I did give him permission to look at it, and his dad was right next to him, so, I didnt figure anything too bad could happen. There was a few jaws drop when he started cutting with it, lol. After I think Jerry D. And Vik said something to him his dad did ask what something like that went for. When he was told he immediately told MM to put it away. Lol. There was no harm done. Like I said. It could probably take a lot more than it will probably ever see work wise anyway.

I would think I'd get the same reaction if I told you all that I was homosexual, yall started kicking your feet and looken' around, like you were wondering if it was OK to cut my liver out of my chest, and eat it along with the pork and chicken.....

Todd, Mr. Hunt, I'll say this now: I'm very sorry for that, I don't know what else to say, I....ugh, I'm feeling sick just thinking about it. Sorry Man. :(

To be fair kid, when Todd told me it was a bit of a laugh that was shared... Although there was a bit of cachinnation coming from Murph.

I finally got a chance to use my Bahco Laplander and all I can say is wow! It cut through cedar and oak like butter. It cut better than my big bow tree saw at home.. I was super impressed, it is light weight, sturdy, and cuts like a dream. It cuts so well that I was able to get my little brother to actually help me clean up a bunch of cedar. While my brother was cutting them down and sawing off the bigger branches, I was using my 9 to get all the small stuff off, It always amazes me how nice the 9 is to work with, the combination of micarta scales, liners, and gloves made it feel like an extension of my arm.. we even used the 9 to flip[ burgers when we couldn't find a spatula.. The 2 of them together, Laplander saw and BK9 were like a cedar trees worst nightmare.

a limb this size was about 3 or 4 pulls..

for about $20 this saw is a hell of a deal..

the BK-9 is a great tool when you realize no one brought a spatula and the burgers are on the grill already ;)

That Yuma's pretty

Todd don't play around. :)

And of course, he's right... even on an art piece, you just never know when someone somewhere down the road is going to get crazy with it.

Personally, I don't give a hoot in heck whether you're gay or not. Besides, I don't like liver.

Agreed! Free is even better... I inherited one from my uncle and I really like it. Hardly notice it in a pack, cuts like a champ, comfortable to use, and the lock is pretty sturdy, too.

Like I stated in my earlier post, I knew you wasnt going to hurt it, and there was no harm done. Therefore, a apology is not necessary. Truth be told I did take a little pleasure from watching everyone else cringe.

I have two kids of my own, and they can tear anything up. Maybe that why I tend to overbuild stuff. :D As far as Murph goes, dont mind him, hes always grumpy.

Glad you got your Yuma safe and sound dresnor. Enjoy!..........

I haven't used it at all so all of my impressions are visual and feel of the knife.

The blade is taller and longer than I thought it would have been. This is a good thing. With the 5/32 blade thickness this should prove to be very slicey. The handle is shorter than I thought it was going to be. I thought a guy with much larger hands than me would have made a bigger handle even on a small knife. The handle fits MY hand great. Is this the same size handle for the Tradewater?

The sheath is very well made and holds the knife very well. I like the way you did the belt loop on it. It seems to be formed very tight to the back of the sheath. It shouldn't shift much on my belt.

I am baffled as to how this one made it out of blade show without an owner. You must have made the other Yumas out of this world cause you knocked mine out of the park.

Oh, and Kid, the only one around here that MAY care if you go gay would be your dad... You've probably noticed around here not much matters as long as you don't step too far outta line.

Jeremy that yuma is SEXY!!! Great looking wood on it.

Lee great pics and congrats on the new 14. I need to get me a laplander eventually... Just to try it out, but i think a couple of my choppers will treat it like a red headed step child.

James im surprised Pysop let you both live HAHA

Oh and i love liver and onions..... But id dont give a $hit what someone else's sexual orientation or preferences might be. Live and let live. I have known a couple gay guys and more than a handful of lesbians. As long as the guys dont try and push their preference on me i have no problem with it at all. Back in my single days i use to say more women for me...... But back to that liver... He is young so it will probably be real tender... Im all for eating his liver regardless of his sexual preference. :D

And I got my ENO hammock in :D

Anytime I send something out to a Beckerhead, you can bet that at least one of those cards will be going with it! Lol :D

They're just too wonderful to keep all to myself...

I'm glad I won the BK& T patch from you BEFORE you got the cards...
