"Yeller" Handles

I just received a lightly used yellow peanut that I bought here on the exchange to replace my MIA amber bone one. I never thought I'd like the synthetic yellow scales, but I find that I do. They do not feel cheap to me at all.

Thought I might add to this one with what my wife got me for christmas. I want so badly to love this knife, but I've had so many problems with the two Moore Makers I had (this included) that I can't say I'd ever buy the brand again. The F&F on my 3254 is better than this... but I love the design. I dunno. I'll let it ride in my pocket a while and see what happens. Right now it is telling me a case CV trapper in bone is just what I need...

That Keith Johnson is beautiful Michael!

My three current yellers, a Schrade Walden 708Y in yellow celluloid from the mid 1960s, an A. W. Wadsworth & Son sleeveboard pen from prior to 1936 (it's actually called french ivory), and a Camillus 22 pony jack in maize pyroxlin also from the mid 1960s.

I have another one in the works, but it will be a while before I get it, as I just sent an old barlow from my childhood to be rescaled in marigold smooth bone.

Thanks, it was a dirty, nasty mess when I gave $4 for it at the flea market. It is slowly being restored. The clip blade is whole, the tip just got under a piece of the bird house in this next picture.

Like Will, I also agree. I was given one this week, and I really like it. Here is an update of my current yellers with the 32087 added.

I have two more to add eventually, when I get them: the marigold smooth bone resacale of my Colonial barlow, and the Case Slimline CV I just arranged to buy from jdracing.

My Buck 301 in yella came in this week, carried it all day yesterday, sweet knife.
