Like that single bladed Sowbelly, I have one in red delrin.

Received two today. :)
Rough Rider RR597 (large 4.25 inch closed) Stockman
Rough Rider RR603 (large 4.125 inch closed) Trapper.

They going into my pocket 01/01/20.

Question:
(please don't hate me for asking)

Why do yellow handle knives look better and more "traditional" or "classy" than black, red, maroon, green ...

I don't know for sure, but for me it's probably because I used to gawk at all the yellow Case knives in the display cases when I was a kid. Those were the ones I could ALMOST afford to buy.

Does anybody know a good way to remove the scuffs and scratches from Delrin? It get's pretty bad looking riding in a pocket with a cell phone and keys. Yellow is my favorite, orange is a close second. I'm hooked on Delrin for some reason.

Picked this up at the local gun show this weekend. 2000 Case EZ open copperhead with a wharncliffe main and CV steel. Main is nice and tight. The secondary has some side play. More than I like, but it is what it is. I like copperheads. Didn't have one with a wharncliffe main or an ez open one. I think its an interesting knife.

I like it.... everything you need, nothing you don't. Wharnie for cutting things, little pen for cleaning fingernails..... and CV steel.

Added a Pen to my small but growing group of Case Yellow Delrin.

Very good assortment:cool: No such thing as a bad Yellow D knife in my book, regardless of maker:thumbsup:

Question was asked earlier as to why Yellow D looks more Traditional than other colours. Can't be answered definitively of course but it can be explained subjectively. Yellow is very visible on the ground but not jarringly so like say orange. For me as a European, it was the only type of CASE knife we saw:D so it became synonymous with Old School and is kind of vaguely reminiscent of aged ivory colour, so even more Old School intimations:cool: Yellow D particularly CASE'S is a pretty and muted colour not garish so it feels right. My ramblings anyway- let's get it posted before it either fails to appear or the multiple posting bug puts it up 3x :poop::(

Thanks, Will

Not sure this one is exactly yellow, but I thought I'd post it and see what you think. It's a 1989 Schrade USA scrimshaw stockman, SC505. I haven't carried this one much. I found it one day back in the early 90s at a trailhead. No one around and not able to locate the owner. For many years it and a Buck Colt (703) were my only slipjoints.

The scrimshaws were going for more of an ivory color, so I would say no on the yellow qualification. Great knife to find on a trail though!

Could well be. Schrade/Old Timer (US) did do a yellow scrimshaw series. :)
The yellow used was quite ... muted ...

Very nice knife. :)

Imperial mini-barlow. This would have been typical of a “boy’s knife” back in the day. I carried it some, until the celluloid scales started to separate. Now it just sits, but it’s a cutie!

Nice snag on the EZopen Copperhead.

I found one of those myself on the big auction site a few years ago - here it is along with some of its Copperhead kin:

I don't seem to have any photos of just my yellow knives all together.
