Looking good, WW! As my other friend who also just turned 30 said, it's a lot like being 29, except when you tell people that you're old, they agree with you.

And yeah. I like my Barkie, but let's just say that there are other issues with the company. There's a reason I don't post on Knife Forums any more, and that reason's initials are M and S. Uncle E, on the other hand, is a class act. Aesthetically, I like Barkies a lot. But I'll take a Becker any day. They're affordable, effective, and the designer is a great guy.

Your aim is a li'l bit off...You might want to practice that. Nice knife though, looks like it will at least make short work of it.

At least there was a cop there that could help you out... I'm sure. What kind of vehicle? Assuming it's the BMW, the dealership on 159th is actually a real good shop.

No cops. Lol. The one on 159th is our primary dealership. The car itself was a 2012 bmw x5 it had about 48,000 miles on it too, oil changed recently. I saw the rpm go down as I was getting coffee handed to me, and wasn't quick enought to hit the gas to keep them up. Then I tried to start it to move out of the way, burned out the starter while I was at it. Bmw sent out a tow that got there in about 20 minutes. Hopefully it's covered under warranty.

Aim was dead on :p See how i split the words world and wood... and... birth and day... Yea that was perfection bud :D Now if i was chopping wood i would have canted the blade a bit to slice into the wood better... But that would of made a mess of the cake when we tried to serve it LMAO

No, and I never will. I have worked on several of them (re-handles, re-grinds, new sheaths etc), and thus have been able to examine them closely. I remain unimpressed.

My reasons for not recommending that company include, but also go beyond the knives themselves. And that's all I have to say about that.
 
Got a condor golok with leather sheath on the way... should have it Tuesday, im hoping the Deimos (giedymin knife) fits in the golok's sheath, but just in case it doesnt, i ordered the knife with the sheath instead of just the sheath. I was going to just get the sheath in hopes it fits.. but really the cost of the sheath was like 20-30 bucks and the cost of the knife and sheath is like 50 :rolleyes:... Almost seemed a waste to just order the sheath. And now if it doesnt fit it still works for the golok, and the golok seems to have decent reviews... and if it does fit..... I guess the golok will go without a sheath until i get a baldric setup made for the Deimos. Regardless i eventually wanna this one to have a nice baldric rig.

I been celebrating it since Friday though, they tried to cheat me out of an hour with daylight savings, but i cheated them out of a couple days so i guess we're even :D
 
So me the wife and kids went out to eat, i was going to get the porterhouse but they let me pick my steak from a huge mess of steaks and i went with an 18 ounce ribeye, i also got cheese grits because i love cheese grits, and some bacon mac and cheeze.. All delicious.

Also tried angry orchard beer... I though i was going to hate it but.... Kind of feel like a hypocrite a little now, but it was pretty good.

Daughter is 7 and ordered a full rack of ribs :rolleyes: She said it was my birthday so she was allowed whatever SHE wanted.... I laughed but let her get them because i know what she doesnt eat I WILL :)

Anyway, while all the food was delicious, after bringing our drinks the waiter disappeared, Some one else brought out the food, no one brought us silverware, we never got the bread that every table around us had... It was just bad service all around and i worked as a waiter for years so i always try and cut them some slack but this guy SUCKED. I had to get up and find a waitress to ask for silverware, We asked 2 separate waitresses for steak sauce and it never came...

Finally i got up and walked up to the man in the nicest suit and headset and said hey bud, im here with my family and while the food is delicious we cant get any service. My wife and kids drinks have been empty this entire time, we cant get steak sauce after asking several times, we had to hunt down silverware, and never even got the basket of bread... I told him the food is delicious man, we are enjoying that at least but we would really appreciate some better service.

So he got us another waitress, who did a fabulous job... In the end she brings the bill, it was 95 bucks and some change, Then i get the card out to pay and the guy in the suit comes over and asks to see the bill, i hand it him and he says hold on ill be right back..... He comes back and hands me the bill and says, hopefully thats a little easier on the wallet... He ZEROED the bill out and gave us the meal free :D

I tipped the lady a 20 that took over and shoved a 10 in the hand of the guy wearing the suit... He tried to give it back but i just said thanks and walked out the door.

Turned out a GREAT night.

I know thats right, after we left i said jokingly to the wife if they wanna feed us for free i have no problem going without bread or steak sauce, ill come back every week and eat with my fingers LMAO
 
Just spent the last few hours watching videos on youtube from lifesizepotato and forgotten weapons. Both channels are about rare and unusual guns, lotta very cool stuff.
 
I dunno... But, If the sibilant snail falls in the susurrant sea, it will shrivel and die rapidly.... But will the snarkers still snicker if they did not see? And what brought about this mystery poetry?
