You are surrounded by flesh eating ZOMBIES...

Gun: 9mm and a home defense shotgun
Cold steel War Hammer
Paul Chen Banshee Cutting Sword
Fehrman Final Judgement
chainmail body armor (I'll have to get a lot stronger)

sadly enough, I have been a huge zombie movie fan my whole life and have thought about this before. Why doesn't anyone ever think of chainmail, or a sharksuit?

I have to go to sleep so I can't read this whole thread. I mention this because this may have already been suggested. I'd bring, along with a variety of the above listed items, enough and the appropriate type of drugs to bring me to a quick, painless death - just in case the weapons thing didn't work and I ran out of ammo/food.

I know some of you are thinking "just save one bulet for yourself", but that's not a solution for me for two reasons: 1) If I had one last bullet, I might very well decide to load it into my gun, just in case I still wanted to survive - then, I might actually use it on a zombie - then, no bullet, 2) Drugs - if chosen well, will actually kill you. The bullet might not do so quite as well.

Good thread.

Can't believe nobody said flamethrower. You might need to eat them after you kill them, and raw zombie meat - eeewwww!:D

LOL at the idea of eating the zombies! that will show them your king zombie if you start eating them.

i would only need 2 wakizashis and full body custom titanium chain mail. zombies cant eat through metal right?

then ill carry oldschool batman brand zombie repellent

and of course my burchtree fixed blade for killing humans who are about to turn

as a last resort ill allow myself to be turned into a vampire

1. M4
2. Glock 34
3. Rope: Zombies dont climb trees.......i hope.
4. RMJ Forge Eagle Talon
5. SWKW Battle Mistress
6. my oakley half jacket (must kick butt and look cool, plust keeps blood out of eyes)
7. Ipod (must have theme music)

1. steyr scout, 308
2. Remington 870, 14 barrelw/extended mag, folding stock-various ammo including dragonsbreath, gotta cook that zombie meat
3. S/W 629sc
4. RMJ crash axe (after all this is fantasy)
5. Al Polkowski urban smatchet
6. gerber multi lock
7. Carson model 4

guess I might replace the 44 mag with glock 19s but I need more info on zombie wound ballistics.

Hmm, well the primary way to kill them is disruption of the nervous system. So I would also go with the large capacity option.

If I need to stop them fast I have to go with a classic. The Thompson M1 subgun with a 75 rnd drum an some Remington Golden Sabers.

For medium range I'd grab a Ruger Mini 14 with 9 30 rnd mags.

Long range would go to the Springfield M25.

REAL long range would go to the Armalite AR30 in .338 Lapua.

CQB range would belong to the FN Herstal P90. Carries 50 rounds, accurate, low recoil while shooting full auto.

Side arm would be an FN Herstal Five-Seven. Uses same ammo as P90 so I can swap em out if I need to. And a Glock 18C for when I need to mow down a few brainless meat bags.

REAL CQB range would go to a nice hard peice of oak studded with steel spikes. A CS battle Mace. A Fallkniven U2, ya I know, but they are just so freakin handy!!! And a Fallkniven Mine Clearance knife for when I need to lay into some stuborn zombies.

Oh and a picture of Diane Fienstein when all else fails. :p

Fehrman Final Fudgement, CUDA Dominaotr, 2 Browning 9mm Hi Power (w/4 - 10 rd mags), an sks (w/ about 15 stripper clips), my Red Wing Boots, thats about it for defense, mybae an Emerson Karambit, but it wouldbn't do too much against the zombies. Probly an axe or tamoahwk of somekind, too. What the hell, micht as well take along a nice Katana, for ultra efficient decapitaion* of zombies.

Did you know the only way to kill a zombie is to cut its head off!?

LOL, how far back did you have to go to dig this thread up?

Not saying it's a bad thing, just WOW!

We should keep in mind that brain or spinal shots would not always be possible or even necessary. Solid hits from a large enough caliber that destroyed the hip joint or legs would at least put 'em down and make them immobile enough to create a safe area around you. With that said....
AKM with folding stock,10 mags, extra ammo in strippers as space permits.
Colt Government Model with 4 extra mags.
Cold Steel Recon Tanto.
21" Gelbu Special HI khukuri.
SAK

Extras in vehicle (if available):
Mossberg 590
Armalite A4 flat top with 3-10 Sheperd scope
M14 .308 rifle
Spike 'hawk
Food and water
Demi Moore....hell, as long as we're dreaming!

Sadly, I was asked this very question on the first day at my new job at the knife store. We opted for the RTAK. and them gales of laughter after the mall ninja left :)

I'd have only the Holy Bible as my weapon. According to my Sunday school teacher, no evil zombies an withstand the power of the WORD.

But, my Sunday school teacher was senile so,

Some large bowie from Strider,
Cold steel Battle Mace
A double bladed ax
.357 Magnum
Swisschamp for lunch break
and a tank (i'd be tired to walk after whacking away at zombies all day ;) )

The answer certainly depends on what kind of zombies you're talking about.
"Dawn of the Dead" zombies?
"Resident Evil" zombies?
Idiot Teenager Mall zombies?

USP .45c (with tons of ammo, enough to kill for days)
Swamprat battle rat
night vision goggle
some type of lightweigh armor
hard helmet
a long steel tube (where I can use it to swing at 'em without putting myself in danger)

remember zombies are usually slow moving targets so I don't really want a machine gun or anything like that which will eat up bullets like no tomorrow. A lightweigh handgun will do just find if I intend to just get away.

it will be great to have a partner or a friend in this kind of situation. :p
