When I see how easily JoeX breaks Busse knives, it no longer makes me want to own one. Goodbye my Battle Mistress, my Ash1, my Sasquatch, etc. I am disappointed by all these words and all these false beliefs. I no longer trust them. There is now too much disparity between marketing claims and the actual resilience and price of the knives.
Ooooo mama Christmas coming early this year?? I- I mean uh.. No one wants to be burdened with disappointment my friend. Let me help you out. Send them my way and I’ll take care of your situation on the house, won’t even charge you anything, cuz that’s what friends are for. 👍

Hey! I mean...... I'll pay shipping for all your infi Xapur.... and give ya 50 bucks.

Don’t listen to him Xapur! I’ve got a better deal! I’ll get you one of them realllll nice jaakariapuukoululemons. The handle slides right off for ease of carry!
Jack of all blades is obviously drunk as hell.... I got a bowie knife hand made out of the leaf spring of a legendary ford ranger. No mortal on earth could break it.........

The comments sections of Joe X's vids are full of the "I'm getting rid of my ___________ (*fill in the blank) knife because I no longer trust it." posts. Talk about letting the cat out of the bag. For me, those folks are basically admitting to millions, "I have used my knife so very little (*if at all), and know so little about how it actually performs, that I'm abandoning it based on the nonsense of some assclown on the internet." Tell me that you've never used your knife without telling me that you've never used your knife. It's pretty hard to trust a safe queen when you have no personal experience with its capabilities.

I don't know much about "gamers", but I'll tell you who didn't fall into the Joe X nonsense: the guys who own the Beckers, the ESEEs, the TOPS, the Busses and Busse Kins, the Bark Rivers, the Carothers, the Work Tuff Gears, the Cold Steels, etc., etc., etc. that are missing coating, nicked, scratched, missing brand/model markings, dinged and dented, chipped, etc., etc., etc. I reckon that the owners of those knives have used/overused/abused their knives so many times that "trust" won't be determined by the results of some guy trying to get his channel monetized.

Just my $0.02.

Haven't you already sold all of them ?

I mean you wrote that you only like owning 6 or 7 knives now ?

I prefer to target my purchases. I no longer like owning hundreds of knives and not using most of them (Busse, Swamprat, custom knives...) They take up unnecessary space, and if you move to another country, it brings a lot of problems. No, I much prefer to own only 6 or 7 that I like to use and know well.
For most of my tasks, I almost always go back to my old Mora Classic or a strong chef knife. My son is like me but even more pragmatic. I have given him many good knives, but he only uses the one he needs and prefers : an Opinel No. 8 with a rosewood handle and a polished stainless steel blade. That's all.
But I'm looking for a stainless steel knife because with the snow and the condensation near my body during the cold season, I'm tired of babysitting my carbon blades. I hope to find my answer here, but obviously, there doesn't seem to be much use of BPS stainless...

While you had them did you actually use them ?
Or are you believing JoeX's hype/beliefs ?

I know I have used mine and they perform above an beyond what knives do.

I used my BB13 to bring down a partially rotted 8 foot tall, 4 foot diameter dead oak stump that broke my chainsaw. Chopping, beating and prying until I had one giant piece that stuck four feet out of the garbage can and another that stuck out two feet. The rest went in three other loads. I could have ground down the stump with it too, but it would have been too much work for me.

Have you actually used these knives lol ?

I’ve literally beat the shit out of all the knives you just listed and never had issues. Sure dings and rolls here and there from hitting rocks and metal nails but nothing that can’t be sharpened or honed out.

Infi is special because it’s more ductile and does not chip out as easily. This means you can save the overall edge and not worry about catastrophic failure in many cases. However, geometry is still a thing. if these are hollow ground or too skinny they can be broken. All the busses Joe has destroyed were the anorexic or skinny versions intended for lighter duty work

I have no idea how the super thin tip on my AFBM has not snapped yet. It’s definitely contrary to the Joe video of the exact one he tested. It’s the anorexic version and thinly ground. It has performed awesome exceeding my expectations so far. This is how she looks with over a year of use.

Take an expensive, legendary firearm and beat it with concrete and steel pipe and I can guarantee you that a zip gun made out of plumbing pipe and a rubberband will outshine it in similar destructive beatings.

Does that mean that the zip gun is a superior firearm? . . . It must be! 👍

And, if you video these firearm beatings, you could be the next youtube sensation!

I'm sure that someday the world will thank you for uncovering the "truth" about expensive firearms!

Let's Drink! 👍

Sure thing. Head over to the sales forum and post them.
I'll save you the trouble. Don't post them over there. contact me. I'll take them from you, although since they're trash, I can only promise to pay pennies on the dollar. But I really think that is a good deal, for me to pay you to take them off your hands. But that's just the kind of guy I am. You won't have to worry about being in possession of these pieces of trash. You can rest easy that you took advantage of some poor soul that was willing to actually PAY YOU for your trash.

Amateur. I used my BB13 to da** near destroy a John Deere lawn tractor.

I don’t want to spend an hour writing about the fatal errors in Joke X testing due to the ignorance of BASIC physics.(If anyone doubts, ask me and I would find time to write it)
I just want to say, if any one say that INFI, which essentially has a composition similar to shock resistant steels (AISI S grade), is less tough compared to SK-85 , a plain high carbon steel, it is basically saying metallurgy doesn’t exist.

If two knives are made of identical or funtinally identical designs, one with INFI, one with SK-85 or Aus-8.
Assuming neither is a fluke, there is no way, the later would be tougher, more durable or perform better in an actual scientific destruction test.
Try with WTG kodiak in SK-85,K329 and an AFBM, the later two would be quite frankly superior to the first one.

Unscientific and irrational results/claims/statements are usaully self-contradictory.
After Joke X tested an K329 Kodiak, ask him to comment on durability of INFI SK-85 and K329.
If he states that later two is much better, the statement itself would reveal how unscientific, ignorant and emotional he is, as K329 is very similar to INFI in terms of composition and therefore properties, which makes the statement, self-contradictory .

Or just send a few test samples fo INFI to ASTM.
Then, simply post the various strength and toughness results along side those of SK-85(quote sk85 data form JIS or maybe hitachi ) in public, is all it takes to reveal who’s the clown.

Too bad bro, that with knives in your own hand, instead of finding their limits yourself, you let some internet-self-entiltled-truth-teller to come in between you and your trustable buddies.
The only way you know that a tool can do something is that you have done it before, look what I did with this AEB-L at 15dps.
It was two layer of sheet metal(mild steel), and all it did was some loss of slicing agression(I think the micro serrations are probably flattened a bit ), all the edges that contacted with the iron still cleanly cuts paper.

Who needs can opners lol.

If you don’t trust your BUSSE knives enough, beat on them till you do, this helps to rule out flukes too.
Worst case, Jerry sends you a new knife 🤣

All of them. And their blades never broke, because I didn't stress them as much as Joe X did. The Busses look great. My favorite was the Sasquatch. But its handle was awkward to hold and tended to slip when I was chopping. I much prefer how reacts the 5160 on my Kailash khukury than the INFI steel.
