I would love to, but I've never seen one for sale or trade that wasn't 1300 or more.
Rosie might be next, but right now I'm all about the Uncovsky. Thanks for the recommendation that thing looks like a banger! The addiction themed knife selling website has a few up for under $900 right now. I can’t mention the name here since they don’t sponsor, but you’ll be able to track it down.
But in response to the actual question… what would I personally spend $800 on? Most likely a Koenig Arius or a mini, since I’ve never got my mits on one.
What would I recommend you spend that much on from what I’m acquainted with? Since you’re not in love with Shirogorov’s design language, probably a Machinewise Sonora. They do a combination of things that’s almost impossible to find, and it makes for an incredible knife that’s equal parts form and function.

And did I mention it’s an integral?

you reach a certain point, and that will differ from person to person, where a given knife becomes more bling than tool. I wonder how many expensive knives are bought by folks that really can't afford them, but feel the need to 'show off' to strangers on the internet.I would love to, but I've never seen one for sale or trade that wasn't 1300 or more.
Good observation and point. I often wonder the same. Hobbyist and collectors can be a bit obsessive also. Obsessiveness can lead to over indulgence very quickly.you reach a certain point, and that will differ from person to person, where a given knife becomes more bling than tool. He was popular on the forums before Covid, his art work was engraved with a laser. His early work he included proof of concept proofs.Uncovsky looks like an extremely interesting maker—I’d never heard of them before. I’m curious now how good the action is, since the engraving and finishing looks beautiful, but the mechanics really can make or break a knife. You’ll have to let us know!
