You know what would be awesome? A BladeForums Special Edition Becker BK16.

Oh no, we broke Teh Spark, he's speaking in tongues!!! I had a See and Say do the same thing. Looks like we'll have to throw him out and go to Toyrus for a new site owner.

Good job, ol_sc.

Perhaps keep the etchings on the spine of the blade or handle? I also get quite turned off by big lettering...

i'd hit that. hard. more than once. sign me up.

and yeah, i say go tiny on any etchings/engravings. maybe so far as to let the uniqueness of the blade with an 'S30V' or 'S35V' on it be what designates it as our special BF knife instead of engraving 'i am a special BF knife' on it.

that would be all classy and subtle, just like me.

I'd be interested and D2 works as well as S35V so far as I'm concerned, especially if it speeds production due to Kabar already having a HT protocol for that.
price point under $150 would make it easier to afford.
I have no preference as to stonewash vs satin -- not a fan of high polish.

To be honest spark, you setup an s35v, d2, or 154 bk16 and you can tattoo BladeForums, a hand turkey, pictures of your kids, Exxon, bank of America or anything else you want on it and I'd still buy it.

I would consider, depending on price. I would much rather see a stone washed s30v or 154cm model instead since it would be significantly less expensive, and more BFC members would be able to afford/ own them. It is an interesting idea, and I'm sure the people here could design the markings to get etched into the blade, but I think regular blade etchings would be fine.

Sounds like a great idea to me. I have no idea if I could afford it but it sounds bad a$$
