Nice knife BCK. Are those wooden pins in the scales?

Really like the sheath too, I love a good deep pouch:D

Went and handled the Estwing earlier.... man that thing is pretty heavy. Not sure how I like it.

The Wetterlings is about a full pound lighter.

Got both. Wetterlings hands down IMO.

I like how you can see the guy cut the string through the door, I was wondering how he did it haha

Rob,
Good to see you getting back at steel working. That's a real work of art. Let me know when you get your package.

Of course none of the base plate holes line up with what's already in the bench, soo.... drilly.

Eswing heavy? I dont know if it because mins older (by atleast 12 years) or something but its light. I mean really light, dont get me wrong it does have some weight to it but I wouldnt consiter it heavy by any means.

Rob - nice looking knife!
and congrats on the quick sale -- that's gotta feel good.

Thats why I suggested the Riggers Axe its a bit lighter, or it sure feels that way in hand.

Whoa! I like that, old vices are great. I have my great Grandpa's vice, but it may be unusable.

BCK, that's a sweet blade. Very traditional looking, but also very modern look as well.

Here's a couple, I'll post the rest one day.

is it only the back of the shroud that's broken?
I bet that would clean up nice....
Acid or sandblast or wirebrush...
Take it apart and give it the business!
Then put it to work!

Looks like a Rock Island from here. What are the model #'s?
I've got a smaller Rock Island non-swivel that's got a spa date one of these days. It's in somewhat better shape than what you've got there, but I bet that would be a workhorse if the mechanism is still good. Can you tell if the jaws are replaceable?

Hey Daizee. You got me lookin at my vice now. Its a 4in jaw star gold. You know anything about them. It was a freebe.
