It actually was a real incident, but my mom was the one with me. not my made-up wife.
 
Welcome NMKK, I accept your apology :). Like others have said, manning up to this and accepting whatever consequences come your way means that you're getting things. You're growing up (must be our good influence :P).

And I'm down with him keeping his number (as long as he doesn't try any other shenanigans :P).

In other news, he sent me a scout sheath for my BK11 this last week, and because I haven't been in town I've not been able to write up a review on it. I'll try to get that up this weekend.

I don't know you as I'm relatively new here, but you definitely did the right thing in coming clean. Everyone does dumb things when they're young, but the way you came clean showed some maturity and that you've learned from your mistake.
 
Heh. Wow. No worries, brother. I'm 28 now, but back when I was 15/16/17, I used to try to pretend that I was older when online. It seems stupid now, but I've been there. Just enjoy being a kid, and enjoy your Beckers. Looks like you're pretty well rounded. Thanks for coming clean, and enjoy the outdoors!

You have completed your first objective of trying to make things right. Your second objective might want to include updating your profile with non bougus infomation. And I wouldn't worry about Thrillbilly. He's a big boy. But once ya meet him he ain't so scary! Lol!

Thanks for coming clean MKK. Like Moose said, most of us knew. Glad you owned up to the lie and now you can move on and actually be yourself!

I learned a long time ago that its just not worth the effort to try to be something you're not. Glad to see you're learning that too.

If I hadn't done that, then I might have spent this whole time trying to hide my inner nerd from my wife :eek:.
 
I had my doubts anyway, but I'm glad you came clean. As far as your BH# goes... the first requirement of Beckerheadedness is to be a member in good standing with no instances of misconduct. Your alter-ego met that criteria, but can you??

I'm just breakin' balls, man. It takes an iron-clad set of stones to voluntarily come forward and admit you were misrepresenting yourself! I guarantee you're not the only one, but so far, you're the only one man enough to do it! Good on you.

Thanks dude.

And yes, i can meet the first requirement. The alter ego was pretty just a cover up story to what my age was. Everything else was really my personality.
