You REALLY, REALLY need to see this! (A sincere apology)

In a previous post you used the word "to" instead of "too", which was the correct form.

This is a pretty mild lie, to be honest. When I was 14, lying over the internet was pretty much a daily occurrence.

Same here. Lying about being a middle aged policeman married(to your mom!) is pretty odd, but also pretty pointless. Unless you used the persona to hurt anyone here, I don't see any reason to punish you. Boys will be boys, as they say.

Really though, when I was 13-14, I was lying about all of the time on forums. No consequences, no rules -- everything's fair game on the Internet. Obviously, I've grown out of the lying, but I think every man here has lied about something unsubstantial when they were young, or for many, probably much worse.

Yeah i kinda thought it was weird that you didnt get the donut joke i threw out at you not too long ago...being a cop and all...

Glad you came clean...

With age comes wisdom.
With experience comes knowlegde.
You're learning already.

When I was a kid I lied about all kinds of stuff. Sometimes for attention, sometimes to fit in, somtimes to stay out of trouble. Eventually I started to feel like lying was in fact one of the worst things a man can do, betraying himself and others with his word. So I stopped. At one point lying just felt so pointless and wrong that I would rather tell the truth and not fit in, not get any attention, or get it tons of trouble, but be happy with myself knowing I was honest.
Like I said, you're learning already.

I believe that all of us have done things in the past that we are not very proud of, but as we grow into adulthood we learn a few things, among them the uselessness of fabricating stories as well as the act of forgiveness... We all do things we regret MKK, and as far as I am concerned you showed alot of your true character by coming clean with us on your own accord!! I have no problem whatsoever with you staying on board and keeping your number,, You are welcome here in my eyes for what it is worth!!

Yeah, x2. But as everyone else has stated, you manned up & took the bull by the horns & came clean. Just don't keep doing it is all. If you do, you will no longer be square with the house. Learn from your mistakes or, better yet, learn from OTHERS mistakes. That is all. :D

I just re-read what i just wrote--------------and DAMN if i don't sound like my dad !!! LOL :D

Well, if it makes you feel any better, we knew already. Perhaps not the specifics, but the overall cover up, yeah, we knew. We were wondering when/if you were going to come clean.

If you think you are the first person to create an online persona different than what you really are, well, then you would be wrong. Its been happening since the internet has been around.

I hope you don't feel like you need to lie to fit in, all you gotta do around here is be yourself.

As far as you BH# is concerned, I don't see any reason to take it away. But, others may disagree.

If anyone has a problem with MKK keeping his number, please contact me via PM or email, and we will discuss it. We will go from there.

I'm glad you came clean, and saw the error of what you did. Means you are growing.

Welcome to the BKT forum, MKK. Glad to finally meet you.

Moose

It's a well known and proven fact that even such historical greats as Lincoln created and online persona. Lincoln's online name was BigPimpin, and he pretended to be an Oil Tycoon, until he was found out, then he came clean, and earned the nickname Honest Abe.

Ethan/MKK, I'm 15 myself haha so sorry if I cant give you some advice on growning up. The legal age to be on Bladeforums.com is 13 anyway so its not like your in any trouble. I do think that pretending your mum was your wife is a little weird but ok... Hope you stick around though :).

Good on you, brother. Can't say I'm really surprised by this, and I bet you feel a lot better coming clean. Those sorts of things can eat at you. Gotta be proud of who you are, and hey, maybe you can work towards becoming a police officer, if that's what you decide you want to do with your life. I've got no problems.

For the record, im not really a bush, nor am I grey...I'm sure yall figured it out though since a bush lacks the appropriate hands and fingers to type...

I feel better, so much better. ;)

The only person on here you had fooled was Ark. Find some coon hunters to hang out with and learn how to do it right.

LOL, And i really don't have TwinSticks---Thank GOD, but my truck does. And----------------------------- Sorry, i waited for it, but i don't feel any better for getting that off my chest ! LMAO :D

ah, yes, the china shop. forgot about that one.

It actually was a real incident, but my mom was the one with me. not my made-up wife.

what really shows good character is admitting your mom was actually your wife :D

I am not by any means trying to shrink you... yet i must implore... if you know within yourself that you are not some one who enjoys desensitizing themselves with xbox and pot. Then maybe you should ask yourself why you needed to create a bogus you... I am sure the members you created the relationship with will not loose any sleep over this. Its more important that you recognize that you should always represent you. not all of us are honest all of the time.

I mostly created a bogus me to try and fit in with the rest of the group. I also wanted to be legally able to enter contests/GAW's. I mean, who don't like to win stuff?

what really shows good character is admitting your mom was actually your wife :D

Now that is funny. :D

When I was 14 we didn't HAVE ''online'' LOL
Well, I guess they did but I sure as heck didn't use it.
eh, I aint very tolerant of liars, but since you're a kid I reckon that warrants a second chance. NEXT time though we flog ya! LOL
Thanks man. Remember that sheath you sent me a while back for my b-day and gave it to me in police blue color because I was a cop? I want to send it back to you. Please pm me your addy please.

And I want to thank everyone for the respectful replies. I assure you I learned a ton from this mistake and from now on I will be myself. You guys will be seeing super cool woods videos and stuff of that nature. (pun intended, kinda)

I really was expecting a bunch of grannies threatening to call the internet police. I once again thank y'all for your encouragement.

I can't say I'm too surprised to hear that.
Feeling the need to lie just for the sake of fitting in and winning free stuff doesn't really impress me much.
That being said, you fessed up to it with no outside pressure other than your conscience, and that says a lot.
Maybe the first step into forming some sort of actual reputation on this forum.

Even though you fessed up with no prompting that I know of on the forum, everything has a price.
you can keep the BH# so far as I'm concerned, but should not be allowed to attend one of the gatherings at Uncle E's place for 5 years.

(unless they change the "no minors" rule before then, that is)

Well. A little honesty, however belated, goes a long way with me.:)

Go forth and sin no more. Or something very similar.;)

I knew you were a kid. It was very obvious in chat. lets face it, we've all been kids.

that's not necessary. I hope it is still giving you good service.
