I don't think he was trying to state his dislike of us, he was only trying to give I some advice. And some pretty good advice at that. ;)

wow i wish i could afford all of that i cant even get a sebenza

Youre not alone buddy. Guess what a Regular Small Sebenza Micarta goes for over here? 630$ + shipping, which is about 20$. so 650$ for a small sebenza micarta.. No way im paying that.

Also, im not sure if i counts as young, but i just turned 22.

Largest knife is my ZT 0560BW, i dont own any Fixed blades, ONLY folders.

I just took a pic of my edc, which i posted in the EDC thread, but ill show it here to, only pic i have of my favorite knife i think. Havent taken very much photos of my knives..

Nice! [Note to self: finally get around to building that forge.]

I also make knives--but I use stock removal methods. I grind primary bevels with a (decent quality, it's my dad's) bench grinder and my own (el cheapo) belt grinder.

I then finish them up with a dremel, and heat treat them in a test kiln. After attaching wood scales, I'm good to go.

Thats awesome! I bought a bar stock of 1095 at the last blade show but havent got around to making a knife out of it yet. Like 7 moths later the bar stock is still laying around untouched haha.

Oh and im building a new forge spydercobenchmadekai. Im using a brake drum as the coal pot, and using 2 inch black iron piping for the rest. A 2 inch flange will connect your piping to the drum. You just need to drill holes to match!

Nice carbon fiber scale on the Southard. What Fenix light is that? I have a TK35 and an LD41. (860 and 530 lumens respectively.)

Cool. I'm designing one built out of firebrick, with a torch providing heat.

You guys have some knice stuff for your age, I only had maybe a half a dozen knives till I was 20, if you don't mind my asking, where do you get your money for knives?

What they said! Little to no living cost, plus a job as a farm hand bucking hay in the summers.
