Your budget everyday carry knife. Post yours!

Each less than $40 and made in Oregon.
The 1776 Link is actually a blend of the two Link versions. I wanted the blackwash blade with the detent (so I could de-assist) and the more textured and lighter handles from the satin version. And yes, I added even more traction with some stippling from a Dremmel engraver.

I like what you did with the link.

Today's budget carry.
Surprisingly good for less than $20 (about 10% less).
Mine is shaped a little more like another knife, but the differences are minor.

So many good affordable knives available these days! But for my money, mileage, and taste, it doesn't get any better than an alox SAK. They only seamlessly integrate with any EDC system on the planet...  ;) :D

Thanks. I'll never understand why manufacturers make so many knives with absolutely no traction. That Link has some, sure, but not really where it needs to be when I'm deploying the blade. My thumbs tends to rest just left of the pattern in the handle scale.

I love a good Victorinox too. I grew up with 'em since it was just about all my dad would use.
Personally though for my main blade I feel like I need something that locks in place. And since I'm carrying a bigger locking blade I tend to carry a smaller multitool. The little Leatherman Squirt fits perfectly in my jeans coin pocket.
