Your Favorite Emerson Model

Dale, I kid you not, I almost typed the same Mini15/PM2 comparison on the green forum yesterday. Couldn't agree more about both.

My much beloved Combat Karambit.

From a pure purpose driven standpoint, IMHO, there is no better designed self defense folder. There is nothing faster while being very concealable nor is there a blade design that is more devastating. I've tried a few of his other models for this task as well as a small fixed blade (Street Beat). While the only knife that compares is the Emerson La Griffe, the Combat Karambit has slightly more reach and because the blade is longer, would be more effective.

Did I hear someone say "Great minds think alike? :D"

They just seem to represent their respective manufacturers so well in that role. Everything that I'd need day-to-day comes together in great balance in those two knives. If those were the only two folders I had, I would never feel like I was lacking for carry & cutting performance from a folder.

Mini commander for work edc and for the weekends my full sized commander ... but I just got a new dessert roadhouse, so my weekend carry just got a little bit harder lol

Over the years ive had a few 7s, commanders, and carried my psark 4 years. But for me right now its my cqc8s. Nothing else comes close : )

Very cool RiverRat!

The more I use the Patriot, the more I like it.

The grip is definitely one of my all time favorite Emersons, I just can't decide which one is a better choice for for EDC LOL:

Both of my tan handle 7's are right up there also:

All nice!
Ernest... Please put a Japanese style blade in that A-100 handle!!

I love my big nasty Super Desert Roadhouse! It just does it for me. But then again I have a Tiger on the way so this may be a game changer.

I like my CQC Vines and Roses best, it is the fastest Emerson I've ever had, so easy to deploy. The clip point blade shape is really cool and the slimness is pretty good for carry.

I've tried many great ones, but I still need to try commanders and Roadhouse series.
