Well I just picked one up today on the exchange, a roadhouse, I couldn't resist.
Next ones on my radar are commander and UBR commander and maybe super commander if I like them enough lol.
Others that I had that i liked very much were the Persian, patriot, super 7 and the vindicator. Those vindicator's feel so solid.

X2 on the CQC 13. Not only the most comfortable Emerson, May be the most comfortable folder I have. And I've got a few.
Definitely CQC-13 !
I have used for several years in the service of a bayonet AK-74, so bowie style closest to me.
"Comrade" seemed easier, and the 13th is what we need

This for function.
For me that CQC10 is stunning.
I have only recently dipped my toe into the Emerson water (so to speak). Bought a Commander, quickly followed it up with a Mini Commander -

Since I got them either one of them has literally been in my pocket the entire time. I really do like them...
...BUT the standard CQC10 is calling to me

I kinda feel like a CQC-10 and a CQC-7AW might make a similar pair to my Commanders...
Wonder whether the 7 would get more pocket-time? I carry the full size Commander often even in shorts. (No doubt, I will end up with both at some point!!)

Everybody has a unique "need" in a knife. I've had the vast majority of Emerson models (still lusting for a Six) and no one model embodies ALL best attributes for my needs (thus my rationalization for having "a few" different models) but the one that comes the closest for me is the Zealot. I'd like to trim the butt of one a bit for ease of egress in the carry pocket (hand reaching for other contents) but otherwise it is almost perfect. Also, I'd probably do unspeakable things for a Mini Gypsy Jack (I've seen one online and almost swallowed my tongue).

Man, I love all three of my Emersons (CQC 8, Super a Commander and a new CQC15) but the more I carry it, the more I favor my new 15.
Could be the nice compromise in size, but it really is a nice option between the three. The 8 feels great in hand, the SC is just so damn impressive, and the 15 fits in hand well and has a great overall blade shape.
Seems like the 15 is a "Happy Medium," as my dad would call it.
