Very few acquisitions for me in 2008, having focused on my other hobby (guns).

However, this 2008 item is probably the pinnacle of my collection.

These guys have found their way to me over the course of the year. They are all my favorites. I run a boarding house for wayward knives, try to get them back on track

I have to say, I think the Dave Kelly hunters are possibly my favorite knives I have been introduced to this year. I am talking about those like Rogers with that particular material use and style. They just look so.. classy. Or is it classic?

This has to be one of my favorites. Mostly because of what went into it.
Don't ever try to tell me that a "maker" doesn't put just a little bit of "himself" in every knife he makes.
I know I do.
It's obvious that Roger understands this right from the beginning.
Those who don't think that a knife has some "soul" inherited from its maker, just doesn't get "it", and probably never will.
