Your first high quality knife?

My first knife over $50 was a CRKT M21-04, but my first really "nice" knife was a Benchmade Kulgera. Still have and use both, years later.

First what I would consider higher quality was ZT0550. It was where I spent what I never thought a knife could be worth its easier now lol

My first really nice blade was a Benchmade Dejavoo. Gawd, I love that knife! Bob Lum hit a home run with that bad boy! Smooth as silk, great blade, comfy grip, and nothing has yet to come close to it for me. I am a bit sentimental about it, though.

Depends on what you call 'high quality' - I would say my RAT 1. For the price it's VERY high quality. My first $50+ knife was my BM Griptilian.

Excluding SAK & Leatherman it was a Spyderco Native II with AUS-10 blade and stainless steel handles which I still have.

I would say SAK, it was also the first knife to teach me to respect knives.

I guess I was accustomed to dull knives because this one got me good. (Touched edge to test sharpness)

Im not even sure which one it was but I sure miss it.

First, what I would consider, high quality knife was my Benchmade Adamas that I bought about a year and a half ago. Before that knives were just as disposable to me as a disposable razor. Use it until it dulls (or I lost it) then buy another cheapo.

After 6 weeks I'm still waiting for a Svord Gen Purpose 6".
Apparently they have to full a big export order.

Have to be my benchmade model 42, or would you guys call a 7 inch Ka-bar quallity knife? guess its a matter of oppinion :P

First was a Buck110 I got at 12years old.
The first higher price quality knife was a Sog Vulcan.
The sog was the start of my affliction I used to look at the $50.00 to $ 100.00 section at my local hardware and wonder who the heck would pay that for a knife now I look at some microtechs or Chris reeves and think $500.00 not too bad
