Looks like you go to some fun social gatherings.
Dude I want to take a lighter to all those threads...!
Don't laugh Lapedog, I was at the mall last week and I notice that they stuck a Salvation Army store in the High end clothing section and a rack of ripped /torn jeans were displayed in the window. Turns out it wasn't a Salvation Army it was a store that only sold "Distressed" jeans for big money and not jeans with little razors cut or frayed pockets but jeans with full blow out knees and holes. After seeing the price they were getting for them I figured I must have thrown out about $700 dollars worth of them when I cleaned out my closet last spring. When I was telling wifey the story at dinner she laughed and told me that my youngest son bought a pair with his own money, $100 bucksLol, that is the ultra high fashion distressed denim look.
That fixed probably does the job in having people avoid you.Only social situations I find myself at are 12 step recovery meetings... I try to avoid people otherwise.
Dam I need to put my work pants up for sale. 50 dollar levis turn to 150 atleast. The old starter jackets are coming back and vintage ones Costa about 60 to 100. I remember they where like 20 at walmart.Don't laugh Lapedog, I was at the mall last week and I notice that they stuck a Salvation Army store in the High end clothing section and a rack of ripped /torn jeans were displayed in the window. It's the shirt. I would look at the blade and be like that's nice. Then I would say dam bad donkey shirt I need one. That's donkey as in,the other word not the animal.
@ Charlie, given I was dragged out to a social event and looking like that you'd be the one guy I'd actually feel comfortable having a beer with and shooting the shit.

I'll probably just have my A-100. If I'm wearing a suit I'll Mexican Carry it on my waist band behind my belt so it won't wear out my pocket, or be seen.

I was thinking the same thing. It’s the ones in suits that I avoid.@ Charlie, given I was dragged out to a social event and looking like that you'd be the one guy I'd actually feel comfortable having a beer with and shooting the shit.

Charlie, you and I are polar opposites. I try to be gray and blend in wherever I go. I try not to stick out.

You could prolly start a thread based on your adventures. I'll bet you have plenty of incidents with the fake shoplifting gig. You're working with some disparate individuals.I'm the "orange man" ... This means someone that people try not to pay attention to. Works. I was a professional shoplifter many years ago. Had a prop phone with a loud and offensive fake conversation. People made an effort not to look at me. Was very successful.
You know, it takes a person with courage and a good heart to admit bad behavior from their past. I tip my hat to you sir..... I was a professional shoplifter many years ago. Had a prop phone with a loud and offensive fake conversation. People made an effort not to look at me. Was very successful.
