Your knives got burglarized. Starting over...

I'd have my Spydie Military on me.

Izula 2
Mora companion MG
Silky pocket boy

The ones I use the most.

The first three that I take off of the burglar when I catch him.
If you have any money invested in knives, you really need a safe that's bolted to the wall and to the floor.

ESEE Izula II
Emerson mini CQC-15
Bradley Alias II

Those are the only 3 knives I would ever need.

I'd just get straight to the point and buy a glock 19 and find the guy who did it ;)

In all seriousness:

1. Custom xm18
2. Les George Rockeye
3. Gerry McGinnis Limiter or Peligro R

Upon reading this thread, all of my knives were gathered up and piled beneath my chair. I will remain here now until the raven comes, for ever more, for ever more.

Hahaha!

I would have my Benchmade Rift on me and probably also my Busse Active Duty so if I were starting over, other than those, it would be:

1 - Busse Team Gemini Light Brigade or Busse Badger Attack (whichever I could find on sale first)
2 - Fallkniven S1 paired with a CS Trail Hawk for my go-bag.
3 - A Himalayan Imports M-43 18" khukuri.

Of all the insurances out there, a good homeowner's policy is a beautiful thing.

If all my knives got stolen, I would have a check in hand within 3 days, less the deductible, and replace them all at once.

I'd go in a different direction. If I lost a lot of knives from theft, I probably wouldn't replace them with the same models. I would probably use this as an excuse to go and get completely different knives. Why get stuff you've already owned?

Currently carrying my ZT 560 so I'd still have that & I keep my Leatherman Juice CS4 in the car so would still have that (unless said burglar made off in my vehicle...)

Would begin rebuilding with:
1. Para 2
2. Dragonfly 2
3. BM 707 Sequel

I'd have my spyderco delica4 emerson opener on me. I'd start over with a spyderco para2, esse izula, kershaw blur.

I'd have a small dress folder with me (William Henry E10 series) because I carry it every day. Next up would be a large folder for outdoor activities.

My edc is a buck vantage currently
1 cold steel srk or buck 119 special ( depends how much money i have)
2 buck vanguard
3 ontario marine radier

Good point.
There are only a few knives on my never sell / trade list anyways.
With all the money I burned getting cheaper knives, I could get into a couple of really nice customs.

This is exactly what I did. Great homeowners insurance got me all different knives from what I had owned.

Delica in my pocket. Cant even imagine my knives gone lol.

1: Benshmade Mini Grip (first higher end knife)
2: CRKT Minimalist z(First EDCable Fixed blade)
3: Leatherman Wingman (Favorite Multitool)
This way I have a nice EDC rotation :)

1.all Black Blur,probably a blem
2.Buck Northshore
3.Spyderco Sage

Just the thought of all the $$ i've spent on knives would keep me from starting over.

1. Opinel 08

2. Condor Hudson Bay

3. Spyderco Stretch (preferably in ZDP-189)

I've got a cheapie traditional, cool one hander in a super wear resistant steel, and an old school chopper for the heavy stuff. I think this would suffice as a decent "reentry level" EDC rotation, though your mileage may vary.

I don't like to play the "what is your favorite" games, but the premise of this one is different.

Start with the knife you are carrying, and initially buy 3 more. (The premise isn't so onerous since it is just asking which ones you are buying to start rebuilding your collection with, so soon you could have more than those 4.)

Mine would be:
Spyderco Para2
Benchmade 913 Stryker
Benchmade 481 Barrage
ZT 0561

Next hunt for a Spyderco Gayle Bradley and I would have a really good EDC rotation to start with.

I would start by waiting for the the Cold Steel 5.5" Talwar to come out, and then I'd wait for the LE ZT 0560, and by then hopefully my NMFSHCG would arrive in the mail.
(My EDC is a Victorinox Cybertool and OLFA LA-X)
