Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Also, received this Case Chestnut bone Mini Trapper with CV blades. I have no idea why, but it just seems Case takes extra care with the Chestnut bone/CV series. All of them have been exceptional. I just ordered a Medium Stockman in this series, as well.

That's been my experience also. Nice knife!

I came across these in my deceased Dad's gun collection today. A complete set of Smith and Wesson collector series knives with matching serial numbers, including sheaths, blue cardboard S&W boxes familiar to gun collectors, wooden display boxes, wax paper, and original wrapping material for each knife.......Sweet set!

Very nice find, Bob! I have one just like it. Luckily Charlie had one at the show that he didn't realize was there.

Thanks Perry. If I remember correctly from pics that were posted in the booty thread, Lloyd scored that one as well as a two blade smooth yellow bone.

Yes he did. Charlie showed it to me first, I think or maybe it was Barry that showed me the 2 blade, but then when I saw the single spey smooth yeller, I was hooked on that one and it left the double open for Lloyd.

I just received my first old cross Victorinox, an Electrician, my favorite SAK pattern. It's a little rough, but the blades are full and everything works just fine.
It will be a great everyday user, in addition to another, "prettier," traditional.

I was looking at a few of those, but they want $$ for them. Good looking piece.

Congrats, Jeff; that old cross Electrician looks super!:thumbup:
I've really bonded with my Electrician over the past 7 months or so.

Quote Dr Scott: "How many knives make you feel happy just to look at 'em!? (Don't answer that! Rhetorical question...) "
This rhetorical question really describes who we are. Upon seeing a well made knife either in pictures or better in hand, most of us here get a warm pleasant feeling of satisfaction (knife in hand) or longing (knife in picture) that we find so enjoyable.
Show the same knife to a non-knifer and it's "oh, yeah, nice", to humor us, and then immediately move on to some other topic.
I'm in my late 60's and have had the special feeling towards knives for as long as i can remember(back to age around 6). My father did not have an interest in knives and around our home there were only kitchen type knives(except for my little accumulation stashed safely away)
I have often wondered why is it that we get this good feeling from knives and the rest of the population (95% ?) don't. Because it can begin so early in life it seems more likely 'inherited' than due to early childhood experiences.
