Very interesting G10, Ed. I was not a fan of the Sowbelly stockman, but the single bladed models are intriguing. Might pounce on a CV model if one becomes available.This Carhartt branded SS "as ground", rough finished G-10 covered, single-blade, Sowbelly fell out of our mailbox yesterday afternoon.

Dansf fanatic got one back in 2022 and I've been looking for a nice one since he got his. I believe though that Dan sent his out to a moder and had it recovered with white bone.

You are right Ed. No real good reason to be honest. I prefer a steel that picks up a patina. I may very well get one in Tru Sharp.Why wait for a CV version? One with Tru Sharp would do you just as well.
