Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

My FIL passed these two on to me. He was going to toss them into a eBay lot with a bunch of other loser knives. They are too cool for that fate. Brown is Ulster. Black, Hammer Brand. Both have better action than most of the new knives I have bought recently.

I think the Schrade bug has bitten me, this is my third Schrade since getting my first one late last week. Handling the 897UH really felt great in hand and I'm sure this one is going to be pretty sweet as well (sellers pics, I'm waiting for delivery), It will be interesting to see this compared to the 897UH and the 804 (which is supposed to be delivered soon)...

Go ahead and pick up knife storage box #7 when you order knife box# 6. 😂😂

The problem with buying online, description said new from factory stock, which I believe means that although all the parts are original it may not have been assembled by the company or after company closed (someone enlighten me here if I’m wrong). The seller didn’t mention this and the pictures didn’t show it of course. I should have asked for more pics, so this is on me.

In any case, got this beautiful German Eye and from the pictures it looked great, upon receipt there are two “issues”. First someone didn’t finish peening the spring pin. The cover pins maybe as well, (2) questionable placement of the shield, as its edge on the bottom is fully exposed rather than fully flush inside the stag. Anyway, pin’s easy enough to fix (sending to Bill DeShivs since I don’t want to damage the stag trying to do it myself). Shield is what it is, hopefully will be fine. Still a great little knife with great W&T
