  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

The stark white bone scales with the odd discoloration on the new Bear and Son Barlow were bothering me enough that I took matters into my own hands.

Slathered them in brown Fiebings leather dye and let it marinate a while. Cleaned and polished them back out. Now they look like a nice golden antique smooth bone. I’m very pleased with how they turned out.
Pics or it didn't happen

Received the second Bear and Son sheepsfoot barlow today. This one in rosewood.

No issues to speak of, other than it needs a strop or light pass on ceramic.

Overall fit and finish is very nice, and it’s good lookin. Definitely can’t complain about the price.

I ordered this before the 39’s I picked up became available. It arrived yesterday. I really like the size of the mini trapper.

Nice! I agree about in being great size. I wish they’d trade the Spey blade for a sheeps foot though. I’m going the get one with the warnie blade if the make one with scales I like.

D dman62 , I agree. I can’t remember who but I think paulhilborn paulhilborn turned a spey into something else. I don’t have the guts to try it myself. Paul, if that wasn’t you…sorry.
