Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I just received this old Kutmaster 4" Stockman by Utica. From what I know about these they are hard to date, but from the tang stamp, highly polished blades and Delrin covers I'm guessing early to mid 1960s.
The blades take a screaming edge and it's slim and light in the pocket, only 75 grams. If anyone can date this more accurately, I'd love to hear it.

Try sending the photos to Utica, and ask them.
They dated a medium toothpick I have to "mid 1950's to mid 1960's" (20~40 years earlier than I expected. I "thought" 1980's or 1990's.)

With no experience, I had a negative view of Kirinite. But this changes that. Cool material. I wish Case would do a plain yellow Kirinite run, sorta like the yellow smooth bone. Reminiscent of the classic yellow delrin, but with better material.

With the single blade, real similar size to a GEC #86

My newest is a type I didn't know existed - a three spring small stockman (2 3/4"). Sabre USA apparently manufactured by Colonial. Same size as 108OT, except slightly thicker, of course. Not quite as well finished as the Old Timer, but an interesting variation.

This is quite cool and recently, I lost my 3318 a few months ago on a field we are grading in Palm Springs at the High School…I crawled under a large tractor and forgot to stick a handkerchief or paper towel in my pocket to no avail …had a loss….I saw it missing and the ground had been graded over before I could get a look hrs later….replaced with another 18 pattern stainless with bone from the 90’s but miss my yellow one….I do have a 3347 but don’t carry it to work fearing loss(too sentimental)…..will have to make a trip to Solvang with the added adventure of a cutlery store now that I did not know of previously! Cheers😊👍

Was out and about traveling for the last little while, but came home today to these two. I was lucky/fast enough to score a Case Seadragon Canoe while waiting at the airport to depart for my trip. I’m very fond of Case canoes, and this particular colorway is stunning. Missed out on the PB&J Mini Copperlock (another favorite pattern of mine), but c’est la vie. Happened upon the Kershaw Federalist on our very own Exchange while in Germany and had a good wifi connection one evening after drinks. Both are very nice. The double detent mechanism of the Kershaw is new to me, and unusual. I’m still warming up to that, but I love the overall size and shape of the knife. Plus, what’s not to like about US made, micarta, and a biggish, pointy clip blade in CPM154?

Arrived from the bay and got cleaned up. The Imperial’s celluloid is more beautiful than my pictures can show. The wood on the Ulster Knife USA stamped TL-29 is pretty nice too. I still need to sharpen both though. I have a feeling I will be carrying the imperial quite often, it’s just too pretty not too! (Wenger for scale only)

My neighbor gave me a tackle box with some stuff in it about 2 years ago. I pulled out the old lures and really didn't look at what else was in it. Today I grabbed it to pull out some lead weights I knew were in there to go catfishing. And I looked through the bottom of it a little. I never spotted this knife in it. I am working on cleaning it up. I started to also put a new edge on it. But I have found the blade steal seams very hard. It's taking me a while to profile an edge even with my Work Sharp Ken Onion with the blade grinding attachment running 1x18 inch belts. It's got some good weight to it. But the handles seem to be aluminum. The only stamping is partially covered by the handle. It is either a HIO or a H10. Anybody know anything about this knife?
