Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

My first traditional in many, many years.

Well-chosen! I consider the Small Texas Jack one of the few "can't go wrong with this one" knives, as far as size, useful blades, and overall production quality by a current manufacturer. Case seems to get this one right, more often than not. I'm glad you got a good 'un. :)

I was third in line for this one and became very fortunate. It should arrive from Ken in a week or so.

Um...

WOW.

Congratulations!

My first GEC. Pretty impressive!

I'm loving that knife (and like your username, too).

Picked up my very first GEC this morning at the jockey lot! Tidioute Cutlery Barlow with Buffalo horn handles. I love it!

Ooooh-- nice! As much as I like the UN-X-LD stamped bolsters on other #25 barlows (and: I do), the triple-threaded bolsters really set the pattern off as well, if not better. Very good 'get.' :)

Here is 2 of my newest :)

73 Scout Double O
...
Silver Alox Electrician
...

Nice to see you here again, Ron! :):)
Nice couple of knives, too; congrats!!:thumbup:
Electrician in my pocket almost every day, regardless of what other knives I may be rotating.

- GT

The top one is a used Bandolera Navaja, too big to carry for legal reasons, but a nice enough addition to the European collection.

GT - Thanks, it is good to be back:thumbup: The Electrician is a very versatile knife for EDC:D

Nice thing about that one is you can carry any large folder you want, and have that guy to whip out anywhere.

A sheepsfoot this time, Kyle? I'm shocked.

Seriously though, that looks like a fun little friction folder. I love that you have found the blade that works for you and now find all these different forms of that blade for your collection. It seems like every time I hop on here you have another sheepsfoot bladed knife to show off. I love it. This one may be my favorite of the ones you've showed. It seems like it might benefit from a lanyard though, as that would give you a bit more to hang onto when you're using it. Either way, it's a beauty.

Haha yes.... Another sheepsfoot! I have some others on the way that aren't sheepsfoot though, we'll see if I can diversify my collection lol.

Osage Orange makes a delightful cover Ron~

These two came in the post over the weekend to today, my psuedo lightbox was just a paper towel over a glass table with light coming from all directions

I got bitten hard by the traditional bug -- completely out of the blue, as I've been exclusively a locking/modern knife guy for many years -- and my research (much of it here on the forums!) led me to the Ka-Bar Dog's Head Coppersmith Barlow:

It's the first knife I've owned that "spoke" to me as soon as I saw it. I've liked (and like) plenty of others, but this one came out of left field. I love the Barlow pattern, the copper, the shield, and the fit and finish. It's a fantastic little knife, and my photo does it no justice.

After less than a day, it's become my favorite knife that I own. It's already jumped to the head of the pack for EDC (though I haven't paired it with dress pants yet -- it's heavy for its size). I'm excited to see the copper age with use.

This is my first post here, and I'd just like to say thanks to everyone -- especially here in the Traditional sub-forum -- for making BF such an amazing resource. My wallet, on the other hand, has already borne the burden of a small flurry of knife orders over the past couple of days, and wishes a pox on all your houses. ;)

Those kabars have caught my eye too.

Welcome to traditionals, Dadpool. That is a great looking Barlow. I've been eyeing that Kabar for awhile. Good choice!
